PLEWES, Evelyn " Toots" (née JOHNSTON)
Peacefully in her 100th year at University Hospital on Friday, November 10, 2006. Dear wife of Harvey PLEWES (deceased.) Beloved mother of Mary Anne ION and Susan PLEWES (deceased.) Wonderful Grandma to Susan and Steve VROOMAN and Jon and Teresa ION. Great-grandma to Madeline, Grace and Samuel VROOMAN and Matthew ION. Evelyn is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Our thanks to Dr. HAMILTON, Cheryl TALBOT and staff at University Hospital for their excellent care during her stay and to the staff at Meadowcroft Place for their care over the years. She will be sadly missed, but always in our hearts and thoughts. Visitation will be in the Needham Funeral Home (520 Dundas St.) on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 from noon to 1 p.m. where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

VROOMAN, Frances (née DOZOIS)
Age 79, formerly of London and Sarnia, passed away peacefully at the Valleyview Home, Saint Thomas on Tuesday, December 26, 2006, with family by her side. Beloved wife for over 50 years of the late Donald R. VROOMAN (2001.) Dearly loved mother of Margie Vrooman CASKEY and her husband Dave, Susan FRAME, all of Saint Thomas, Michael VROOMAN and Richard VROOMAN, both of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Also loved by six grandchildren, Daryl, Nathan, Emma, Christopher, Christine and Bobbi, two sisters, Mary and Nina, a brother, Rejan, and many nieces and nephews. Born in Montréal, Québec, February 12, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Leon "Leo" and Margaret (ROBINSON) DOZOIS. Frances was an active member and volunteer at Holy Angels' Roman Catholic Church, Saint Thomas and a life member of the Catholic Women's League. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. (Prayers at 8 p.m.). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Angels' Church, Saint Thomas on Saturday, December 30th at 11: 00 a.m. Following cremation, interment in Holy Angels' Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, memorial donations to the Holy Angels' Church Restoration Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated.

MORRISON, Ethelreda (HUTTON)
Entered into rest peacefully, at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, on Thursday, January 19, 2006. Ethelreda HUTTON, in her 81st year, was the beloved wife of Stewart MORRISON for 56 years. Loving mother of Shirley and her husband Murray MacALPINE of Wasaga Beach, Jane and her husband Vernon AVERY of Little Britain, Marlene and her husband Ken NICHOLLS of Lindsay, and Heather and her husband Wayne COCKBURN of Lindsay. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Robert and Amy MacALPINE, Pierre and Melanie DUBOIS, Stewart MacALPINE and Debra DOUCETTE, Emily and Warren GRAVES, Matthew and Sara AVERY, Rachael, Jacquelyn and Catherine NICHOLLS, Natalie COCKBURN, and by her great-grandchildren Deanna and Ella Rose MacALPINE, Adeline DUBOIS and Ethan GRAVES. Dear sister of Doris and her husband Cleve LEBAR of Lindsay and Shirley O'DETTE of Peterborough, and predeceased by her sisters Marjorie VROOMAN, Leona MARK and brothers James and John HUTTON.
