FLOREANI, Emma
Emma FLOREANI 92, of Saint Thomas, passed away at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, March 25, 2006. Sister of the late Felice "Felix" FLOREANI (1994) and the late Aleardo "Quinto" FLOREANI (2005.) Aunt of Jacques FLOREANI and great aunt of Laurent FLOREANI and Isabelle FLOREANI, all in France. Emma is also remembered by first cousins, James NICLI (Lucille,) Robert NICLI (Katherine) and Marye McCAIG. Born in Maiano, (Udine,) Italy, September 25, 1913, the daughter of the late Stefano and Aurora (NICLI) FLOREANI, she came to Saint Thomas in the early 1960's. Emma was a member of Saint Anne's Roman Catholic Church. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. (Prayers at 8: 30 p.m.) The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Saint Thomas on Tuesday at 10: 30 a.m. followed by interment in Holy Angels' Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation gratefully acknowledged.

The family of the late Margaret McILHERON would like to take this opportunity to thank Drs., nurses and staff of Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, Creedan Valley Leisureworld Nursing Home, Carruthers and Davidson Funeral Home for their efficient and caring services. Reverend Neil MATHERS for his uplifting message and to the pallbearers. Thank you to neighbours, Friends and relatives for food, flowers, donations and cards. MITCHELL, Helen Isobel
Helen died peacefully on December 13, 2006, in her ninety-third year, at the Montreal General Hospital. She was the dear sister of Margaret Mitchell McCAIG, and sister also of the late Anne BOYLE, Jean MITCHELL and Alastair MITCHELL. Beloved aunt of Jack and Ilse MITCHELL of Ottawa, and of Mrs. Lorne CLARKE, Calgary. She will be missed by many Friends. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 18 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of The Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul, 3415 Redpath Street, Montreal. Of Calgary, passed away peacefully at his home, on Wednesday, December 20, 2006, at the age of 58 years. Beloved son of the late Edward Benedict LYNCH and Mary Carmel LYNCH (née LAWLOR.) Loved brother of Joan BRENT and her late husband Ronald of Toronto, Helen MORNEAU and her husband Frank (W.F.) of Toronto, Mary (Kelly) FENN and her husband Robert of Toronto, Bill LYNCH and his wife Alice of Bradford, and Margaret HORNBERGER and her husband Gregory of Toronto. ARMITAGE, William " Bill"
The Armitage family is very saddened to announce the death on Tuesday, April 11th, 2006, of their beloved William (Bill) ARMITAGE in his 72nd year. Bill was husband and best friend of Shirley (STEELE.) Devoted and caring father of Brad (Dianne,) Dean (Jennifer,) and Michelle (Don) JEFFREY. Bill was a devoted and extremely proud grandfather of nine grandchildren: Jason and Eric ARMITAGE Jaimie and Taylor ARMITAGE; Amanda, Adam, Aaron, Anthony and Alissa JEFFREY. Also missed by his sister-in-law Arleen (Steve) MOORE and by his dear Friends Harold and Dot MacAINSH. Predeceased by his brothers Roy, Bud and Ken, and by his parents Gord and Beccie (PHILLIPS) ARMITAGE. Bill had a lifelong interest in harness horses, racing, and of course "talking horses" to other horsemen. Visitation will be held on Friday from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, April 15th, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. Rev. MacAINSH, Harold Norman
Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Parkwood Hospital, on Tuesday, December 26th, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer, Harold Norman MacAINSH of Ballymote in his 74th year. Gentle and dearly loved husband for 49 years of Dot. Dearly loved father of Susan (KELLY) of Trenton, Todd MacAINSH of London and Terry MacAINSH also of London. Cherished grandfather (Bumpey) of T.J., Krystle, Starr, Justin, Jason, Tyler, Jennifer, Lindsay, Nicholas and Joshua. Great-grandfather of Aiden, Ciera, Christopher and Paige. Predeceased by parents Hazel and Sid MacAINSH, sister Marjorie BORDEN and grand_sons Brett KELLY and Sean KELLY. Harold will be dearly missed by his close friend Shirley ARMITAGE, and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Harold will be fondly remembered by many Friends and neighbours. Harold was a long time employee of Labatt's (London) and a dedicated volunteer at McCormick Home. Harold touched the lives of many with his sense of humour and positive attitude and was an inspiration to all. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29th from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Saint_Jude's Anglican Church, 1537 Adelaide St. N. where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 30th, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. Private interment, Saint_John's Cemetery, Arva.
