Peacefully on January 20th, 2006. Myra was devoted to her family and Friends: sister-in-law to Mae GAMBLE, Edna McCOUAN, Stella BLACKBURN and Mona BLACKBURN; aunt to Marilyn WAREHAM and Brenda BLACKBURN, Malcolm FRASER and John GILLIES, both of Scotland cousin to Lorna BARR of Vancouver, British Columbia; special friend to Joan PURDON and Ron MELANSON; as well as many other family and Friends. Cremation will take place, followed by Inurnment in Pine Hills Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. "She will be in our hearts forever"

McOUAT, Darlene Mae " Alexandra" (née McOUAT) L.L.B.
(March 17, 1966-February 16, 2006)
Peacefully, on February 16, 2006, at her residence in Victoria, British Columbia. Darlene was a loving daughter, sister, niece, friend and aunt. Her love, and our privilege to love her, are cherished forever. Our Darlene: so warm and affectionate, always forgiving and caring, such infectious laughter and humour. Darlene is survived by her parents, Bill and Patricia McOUAT; brother Glen; sister Kathleen (Kevin); nephews, Cole and Quinn, and many aunts, uncles and cousins - all will miss her. A memorial service was held on Monday, February 27, 2006 in her hometown of Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Windsor Park United Church.

Formerly of Dresden and Glencoe, passed away peacefully at the Kingsway Lodge, Saint Marys on Tuesday February 28, 2006 at the age of 87. Born in Dawn Twp., daughter of the late Robert and Minnie (RUTLEDGE) McBRIEN. Predeceased by her first husband Ray McCOUBREY (1978) and her late husband George BUTLER (2001.) Dear mother of Beverley Ann and Allan SLATER of Lakeside, Marilyn and Frank CARNEGIE of Kingston, Jack and Janet McCOUBREY of Lambeth, Jim McCOUBREY and Deborah KENNISH- McCOUBREY of Annan. The McCOUBREY and BUTLER families will receive Friends at the John C. Of Saint Thomas, on Saturday, May 20, 2006, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Alex McCOUBREY (July 30, 1991) and dearly loved mother of Alex McCOUBREY and his partner Gloria DAUGHARTY of Saint Thomas, Mary Helen and her husband Bud RAYNHAM of Saint Thomas, Hugh and his wife Judy McCOUBREY of Saint Thomas, Anne and her husband Sandy PRIDE of Stouffville, Rosemary and her husband Henry THUSS of London and John and his wife Jackie McCOUBREY of Fingal. Sadly missed by 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her family. Mary Catherine was a member of Saint Anne's Church, the Catholic Women's League (60 year member), the Saint Thomas Duplicate Bridge Club and past member of the Saint Thomas Curling Club and the Talbot Park Golf Club. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas and then to Saint Anne's Church where Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Angels Cemetery. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Monday at 4: 00 p.m. Visitation Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to Saint Anne's Church Building Fund.

Predeceased by her parents Reginald and Eleanore SCARRATT, brothers, Leslie, William and sister Margaret McCOUBREY.
