PARKER, Martha Flora (née SUTHERLAND)
Peacefully at Exeter Villa on Monday, January 2, 2006 Mrs. Martha Flora (SUTHERLAND) PARKER of Clinton, Ontario. Martha was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Clinton and the Catholic Women's League. Martha was born at McNabs Cove, Cape Breton. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Ann (CAMPBELL) SUTHERLAND of McNab's Cove, Cape Breton. She was the beloved wife of Clifford PARKER and mother of Gordon and Sandra PARKER of Georgetown and David PARKER of Clinton. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her grandchildren David (Davey) and Dawn PARKER of Clinton, Yvonne and Leon BESSIE of London, Shannon and Michael DIRENZO of Georgetown, Sean and Darcy PARKER of Burlington and Ryan and Bronwyn PARKER of Acton. A great joy to her heart were her great-grandchildren (G.G.) Alice and Parker DIRENZO, Monica, Michael and Amanda BESSIE and Kerry and Michelle PARKER. She is survived by one sister Cecilia MacCUISH of St. Peters, Cape Breton and one sister-in-law Agnes SUTHERLAND of Soldiers Cove, Cape Breton. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Martha was predeceased by one daughter-in-law Claire PARKER, two step-brothers John and Dan SUTHERLAND of Saskatchewan and one step-sister Jessie MacNEIL of Glace Bay, Cape Breton; six brothers Murdock, John Leo, Dan Joe, John Angus, Michael Lawrence and Arthur Joseph and by three sisters Margaret MacNEIL (Mickie), Mary Bell WALKER (Dan) and Jessie JOHNSTON (James.) Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes Ltd., 153 High Street, Clinton on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Church, Clinton on Friday, January 6, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Clinton Cemetery. Parish Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 7: 00 p.m. Donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
