Barbara (née
WALKER)
Passed away at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto on Wednesday,
January 18, 2006 in her 85th year. Loving wife of the late James
McWATT and devoted mother to the late Ian
McWATT.
Barbara is
survived by her daughter-in-law Susan
McWATT, granddaughter Heather
McWATT-
PELLEGRINO and her husband Michael of Boston, Massachusetts
and brother-in-law Archie
McWATT and his wife
Minnie of Scotland.
Barbara was born in England and moved to Canada with her husband
Jim and son Ian in 1957. She obtained her first and only job
at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce where she was employed
for 25 years. After retirement Barbara learned to golf and enjoyed
spending her winters in Florida. At the family's request there
will not be a service or visitation. Donations in Barbara's memory
may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 20 Holly Street,
Suite 101, Toronto, Ontario M4S 3B1 or to the Canadian Diabetes
Association, 1400-522 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M5G
2R5 or to a charity of your choice.
