Frank proudly served with the
United States Marines in Korea, Hanoi, and the beginning stages
of Vietnam. He was a founding member of the Anishinabek Police
Services and was most proud to support his community, serving
on Council for 35 years; negotiating a new Treaty with the University
of Notre Dame for Pottawatomi students to attend; and performing
Traditional Ceremonies throughout North America. Family invite
Friends to visit at the family home, 6376 Hwy. 21, Saugeen First
Nation on Wednesday. A traditional service to celebrate the life
of “Skwedebineashe“ will be held at the James Mason Memorial
Recreation Centre on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with visiting
2 hours prior to service. Interment in Saugeen Cemetery, Hwy. 21,
Saugeen First Nation. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation
or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. A tree
will be planted at the family home by the Thomas C. Whitcroft
Funeral Home and Chapel. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas C.
