WARD, Harvey Lloyd
Was born on December 4, 1916 in Toronto and passed away in Halifax on November 14, 2007. He is remembered lovingly by his siblings, Bruce (Shirley) and Phyllis, sons, Keith (Wendy) and Michael (Jane,) grandchildren Caitlin (Scott NAGEL,) Aaron (Kelly) and Peter (Christina), his beloved great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Gertrude, his sister, Helen, his first wife, Ivy, and his second wife, Sybil. He was a teacher and principal in Ontario, but couldn't wait to spend every summer at his beloved cottage in Ingonish. He was passionate about education and music and belonged to many choirs over the years. In lieu of flowers, he would have appreciated a donation to the university music program of the donor's choice.

OGILVIE, Joyce Amy (née REID)
Peacefully, at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby, on Saturday, December 8, 2007 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Noel "Buzz" John OGILVIE (1998.) Loving mother of Donna WOOD and her husband William, and John. Cherished grandmother of Sara RIDGLEY (Don) and David KERSHAW (Elise) and great-grandmother of Ashlyn, Will and Felicia. Dearly loved sister of Donna DYCK. Also missed by godchildren Eric SMITH, Sara MASON, and Ann NAGEL. Predeceased by sisters Isabel and Glenna. Joyce was a proud supporter of the Canadian Red Cross and a disaster relief volunteer with the American Red Cross. She loved Saint_Joseph Parish where she was a longtime member. Joyce spent many years as a member/ volunteer of the West Lincoln Association of the Mentally Handicapped. She was a pioneer woman aviator and the youngest woman pilot to solo a plane in Canada. Visitation at Stonehouse-Whitcomb Funeral Home, 11 Mountain Street, Grimsby (905-945-2755) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Funeral Prayers at 8 p.m.. A Mass of Celebration will take place at Saint_Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. Burial at Mountain Cemetery, Grimsby. If desired, in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to the Canadian Red Cross would be sincerely appreciated by the family. www.smithsfh.com

KING, Brian Stewart
After a sudden illness, Brian KING ventured forth on his eternal journey at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge on October 15, 2007. His loving wife Lynn ROBERTS was at his side. Brian was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Catherine KING and sister-in-law Gwyneth NAGY. He is in the thoughts and prayers of Ron KING, Thomas and Christine ROBERTS, Joseph NAGY and many nieces and nephews, their spouses and progeny. Cremation has taken place.
