BOYER, Joan Marie (née SMALLFIELD)
Beloved wife of Michael G. BOYER on July 19, 2007 in her 80th year after a long illness. Loving mother of Richard M. BOYER and his wife Brenda PARKER- BOYER, George F. BOYER and his wife Clare BOLTON, and Pamela Jane BOYER and her husband Andrew ZELIZNAK. Cherished grandmother of five wonderful grandchildren; Christopher John, Emily Louise, Charlotte Cecile, James Flynn and Michael Boyer ZELIZNAK.
There will be a cremation followed by a private internment with no visitation. A service of thanksgiving and a celebration of her life will be held at Saint Mary's Anglican Church, 10030 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, L4C 1T8 on Wednesday July 25 2007 at 11: 00 a.m. The entrance is off Major Mackenzie on the northwest corner of Yonge and Major Mackenzie. If desired donations in her memory may be made to Saint Mary's Anglican Church (Chapel Restoration Fund) or York Central Hospital Palliative Care Unit, 10 Trench St. Richmond Hill, L4C 4Z3. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Doctor Matilda NG, Doctor John HAYAMI and Doctor BERGER; the nurses of the Chemotherapy Clinic and those of the Continuing Care and Palliative Care Wings at York Central Hospital. Their exemplary skills were always available to us as was their sympathy and Friendship. We shall never forget them.

OSBORNE, Frederick
After a courageous battle with cancer, Frederick OSBORNE of Richmond Hill died on July 25, 2007, at Hill House Hospice. He was the devoted husband of Florence WOLFF. Chelsea, his yellow lab, will miss his master's tender loving care. Fred was predeceased by his parents and brothers Ralph (Medicine Hat) and George (Edmonton). He is lovingly remembered by sisters Phyllis OSBORNE (Medicine Hat,) Grace LIPPET (Medicine Hat,) sisters-in-law Mildred BOOS (Waterloo) and Nina OSBORNE (Edmonton,) many nieces and nephews, special Friends Ken and Nola MOTT (Waterloo) and many people whose lives he touched. As a faithful employee of Weston Bakeries for 44 years, Fred was the General Manager of Weston Bakeries in Kitchener, Montreal, Toronto and Orillia. A special thank-you to Doctor Matilda NG, Doctor Brian BERGER and the staff at Hill House who helped Fred make is journey peacefully with dignity. At Fred's request, he has been cremated and there will be no service. Donations to Hill House Hospice, 36 Wright Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario L4C 4A1 would be appreciated.
