Formerly of Harbour Square, Toronto died on September 24, 2007
at Bridgepoint Hospital, at the age of 90 years. John, long retired
from Canadian National Telegram, was a member of the Canadian
Power Squadron, and an avid collector of books and memorabilia
respecting power boats and automobiles, all of which he generously
gave to interested organizations shortly before his death. John
was a ham operator with call number VE3BFP. A funeral service
will be conducted at 2: 30 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2007 at the
Trull 'North Toronto' Funeral Home, 2704 Yonge Street, Toronto
(416-488-1101), followed by a burial service at 12: 30 p.m. on
Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the Ormiston Family Plot in Sterling,
Ontario.
