McCOY, Anna Margaret (formerly McDONAGH, née WALLACE)
January 20, 1919, Mus. Bach. University of Toronto 1938. Born in Toronto. Parents: Clifford WALLACE, Josie Ermina WALLACE, both deceased. Older sisters: Mrs. Ester SKOV, Mrs. Bernita JOHNS and Mrs. Jean ARMSTRONG pre-deceased. After World War 2, Anna taught music theory and helped set up "Publicity and Performance" at the Faculty of Music/Royal Conservatory of Music for young students.
She leaves her loving husband, William A. McCOY, daughter Sheila Roberta McCOY, and two grandchildren Eric and Penelope OSTERMAN of Toronto; nieces, Kiersten Skov BEVERIDGE of Vancouver, Daphne ARMSTRONG of Vancouver, Linda JOHNSON of Halifax, and dear cousin John WALLACE of Leesburgh, Virginia, his wife Helen, their son John and daughter Lynda.
During World War 2, Anna married Capt. George McDONAGH of the Royal Canadian Army, Procurement Branch in Ottawa and New York, and was known at the "Con" by this name.

MAUNSELL, Richard Mark Orpen
Died January 2, 2007 at Central Park Lodge (Thorncliffe) in his 93rd year after, in his own words, 'a long and interesting life.' son of Richard John Caswell MAUNSELL and Mary Winnifred (née ORPEN) of Oakley Park, Celbridge, County Kildare. Beloved and loving husband of Gwen (née MINCHIN) for 62 years. Dear father of Catherine (Helen McILROY,) Elizabeth (Guy DUMAS) and Claire (Paul OSTIC) and loving grandfather of Rachel and Max. Predeceased by his sister Aphra MAUNSELL and survived by his brother John MAUNSELL. An engineer, Mark was a lifelong employee of Albright and Wilson in England, Australia and Canada. Mark loved sailing and shared his passion with family and Friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in his name. The family will welcome Friends to remember Mark on Friday, January 5, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Rosedale Room, Marriott Hotel, Bloor Yorkville, 90 Bloor Street East, Toronto (416-961-8000).

Peacefully, in Montreal, on Sunday, August 5, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Aron GRUNFELD. Loving mother of Yaffa GRUIA, Doctor Eva GRUNFELD and Louis GRUNFELD; and caring mother-in-law of Jerry GRUIA, Ronald CLARK and Marlene OSTRONOFF. Devoted grandmother of Kim, Jeffrey, Kayla and Aaron and, joyfully, her new great-grand_son Quinn. Funeral service at Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street West, Montreal on Thursday, August 9 at 1: 00 p.m. Burial at the Dominion Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. At Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, on Wednesday, December 20, 2006, Mrs. Stefania OSTROWSKI of Strathroy, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Stefan OSTROWSKI (2000.) Dear mother of Richard and Lillian OSTROWSKI of London, and Steve and Nancy OSTROWSKI of Orillia. Survived by grandchildren Paul (Teresa) OSTROWSKI, Sonja (Rob) WHITEHEAD, Matthew (Amanda) OSTROWSKI, and Erik OSTROWSKI and also survived by 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation was held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. West, Strathroy. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Front St. East, Strathroy, on Friday, December 22 at 11: 30 a.m. Fr. Michael KISZKO celebrant. Interment All Saints Roman Catholic Cemetery, Strathroy. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Stefania.
