WHITELEY,
Herbert
Bellhouse
Passed away in his 97th year on December 13, 2007 supported by
gentle hands at Providence Healthcare. Predeceased by his beloved
wife Doris (née
WELSH) and sister Muriel
WHITELEY of Kitchener,
Ontario. Much loved, he will be greatly missed by his sons Bill
WHITELEY and wife
Sheila of Toronto and John
WHITELEY and wife Marilyn
of Kingston (lately of Winnipeg). Herb will also be missed by
grandchildren Kristen
WHITELEY and partner Mike
FREEMAN of Toronto and
Adrienne TSCHERNIAK and husband Axel and children Robert and Isobel
of Berlin, Germany.
Herb was generous in the love and support he extended towards his
family, church and community, always willing to reach out to
help and to encourage. In addition to his immediate and extended
family in Canada and the U.S., Herb also maintained a warm, lifelong
relationship with the English branch of the
WHITELEY family located
in the Rochdale area. Herb's great love of nature was reflected
in his enthusiasm for gardening, photography and painting. He liked
nothing better than to be outdoors enjoying a walk and taking in
the beauty he saw in everything around him. A family ceremony and
interment will be held on December 21, 2007 in Fergus, Ontario
with a memorial service celebrating Herb's life to follow in
Toronto in the New Year.
