CANNING,
Hugh
Francis
In the arms of his loving family and Friends, Hughie, in his
fiftieth year, died peacefully at Saint Michael's Hospital on Tuesday,
January 9th, 2007 after a life long struggle with Cystic Fibrosis.
Beloved son of Hugh and Ann. Loving brother of Ann Marie and
her husband Peter, Michael and his wife Karen, and Ted and his
wife Karen. Adored uncle of Peter and his wife Amy, Katie, Conner,
Bridget, Blake, Paige, Burke, Brendan and Briar. A graduate of
Saint Michael's College School, Hughie continued his studies at
Trent University before embarking on a career in the insurance
industry. He was compelled by his health to retire prematurely
which allowed him the time to further endear himself to his family
and Friends. Hughie celebrated his life at every opportunity
with his life long Friends John McMahon, Terry and Tony Morrison,
Scotty Heard and all those who regularly attended his beloved
'Scramble' at Scugog. A special acknowledgement to Hughie's Friends
at the Balmy Beach Club who gifted him with their Friendship
and support in these most recent years. The family would like
to gratefully acknowledge all of the loving and compassionate
care that Hughie received throughout the course of his struggle,
from Doctor Douglas
CROZIER through to Doctor Elizabeth
TULLIS.
Special
thanks to Doctor Diane
