On Saturday December 1st 2007, after a long courageous battle
with cancer, Gloria Ann
(VIBERT)
THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, age 65 passed away
surrounded by her husband and family at home, as she had wished.
Beloved wife of Harris, devoted mother of Dan, Rich and Tammy,
cherished little sister of Carole and brother Emmett, sisters-in-law
Mary and Ann, brother-in-law Bernie. Lovingly remembered by her
daughters-in-law Melanie and Alisa and son-in-law Dave and her
life long friend Sheila Fenton. Gloria will be greatly missed
by grandchildren, Holly, Mitchell, Douglas, William, Brent, Emma,
Evan, Martin and Jack. She was an inspiration and pillar of strength
and will be sadly missed by everyone's life she touched. The
family would like to send out a heartfelt thanks to Doctor

his nurse Helen and all the nurses and staff in oncology at Trillium
Health Centre, we would also like to thank nurses Lillian and
Therese and caregiver Mary
BRUSH for their extraordinary care
and compassion. Friends may call at Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel
and Visitation Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (Dundas/403), Oakville,
905-257-8822 on Monday December 3rd at 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral
mass will be held at 2: 00 p.m. at Saint Martin of Tours Catholic
Church, 1290 McBride Ave. in Mississauga on Tuesday December 4th,
interment to follow at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens. In her memory,
donations to the Humane Society would be much appreciated. Online
