At London Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, June 9, 2007. Survived by her five daughters, Nancy HALLIDAY and her husband, Rick FALARDEAU, Stratford, Janice and Morris VAN OSCH, Lucknow, Heather and Ron McTAGGART, Waterloo, Delynn and Glen DEVEAUX, London and Dianne and Jim SCHNIEDER/SNIDER/SNYDER, Walkerton. Shirley will be missed by 14 grandchildren, Danielle, Sara, Curtis and Karla SCHNIEDER/SNIDER/SNYDER, Meghan, Nicole and Lindsay DEVEAUX, Greg and Jill McTAGGART, Peter, Kent and Ryan VAN OSCH, and Evan and Larissa FALARDEAU. Also survived by brothers Warren (Marnie), Willis (Nancy) DAVIDSON and sister, Sulta (Jerry) WEPPLER. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Avondale Cemetery, Stratford. In lieu of flowers, Shirley requested donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, which may be made through the funeral home (519) 271-7411.

McGREGOR, Colonel Walter Leishman, Q.C., LLD (Hon)
On October 5, 2007, in his 91st year. Survived by loving wife Eileen (COULTER.) Beloved father of Mary CHANT and Walter Jr., and stepfather to Scott WEBSTER. Loving grandfather of Colin (Jen MacTAGGART) and Jessica CHANT, and Kelly and Grant WEBSTER. Proud great-grandfather of Isabel CHANT. Predeceased by his wife Helen (YOUNG) and sister Mary MINGAY. Will be sadly missed by the extended McGregor, Mingay, Wigle and Young families, and many dear Friends.
Mr. McGREGOR practiced law in Windsor and Kingsville for over 40 years. Former Commanding Officer and Honourary Colonel of the Essex and Kent Scottish Regiment, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the University of Windsor, Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire Memorial Hospital, and President of the Ontario Hospital Association, among many other deeply felt affiliations. A lifelong Windsor and Essex County resident, Mr. McGREGOR's devotion to his community and country resonated through his life.
Visiting at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home, 1969 Wyandotte St. E., (Windsor, Ontario) on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 2: 00 p.m. Private family interment at Greenhill Cemetery.

PALLETT, Frederick Roy
Born July 30, 1922 in Mississauga. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at Baycrest Health Centre, Toronto, following a long struggle with Alzheimers disease. Husband and loving partner to Jean Muriel PALLETT (née McTAVISH.) Devoted father of Donna (Brian) WOODHOUSE of King City and Linda Pallett BELANGER (Laurie ROWLANDSON) of Sudbury. Proud grandfather of Michelle, Jamie Jenna, Kayla, Eric and Daniel. Predeceased hy his brother Donald, sisters Laura, Alice, June and parents Roy and Lillie PALLETT. Fred and Jean built and operated Cedar Grove mobile home park and sales lots for over 55 years where up to 250 families lived. Fred was a lifetime member of Bethseda United Church and in more recent times Eugenia United Church. He was awarded the Paul Harris Rotary Award for outstanding service. He always enjoyed his family time at his cottage and his winters in Naples, Florida. The past three years he has resided at Sunrise Senior Living in Aurora. Palliative care in the past months have been at Southlake, Sunnybrook and Baycrest Hospitals. The devotion care and love by his many care workers will always be remembered and treasured by his family. The family received Friends at the Turner and Porter, "Peel Chapel" 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga on Sunday, November 25. Service was held at Applewood United Church, Mississauga on Monday November 26 at 11 a.m. Visitation was continued at the Fawcett Funeral Home, Flesherton on Monday from 6: 30-8:30 p.m. Interment - Flesherton Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Society - York Region.

Beloved husband for 62 years of Edith (MacTAVISH,) devoted father of Susan MASON (Alister) and Jane MASUKAWA (Allan,) proud grandfather of Janice MASON and Craig MASON (Tova DAVIDSON) and delighted great-grandfather of Lachlan Thomas MASON and Caius MASON; Also deeply mourned by sister-in-law Isobel GIBSON of Brussels, Ontario and family. Peacefully, with daughter Margot and niece Caren by his side at Hampton Terrace Centre, Burlington on Friday, November 2, 2007, in his 85th year. Predeceased by his wife Evelyn McTAVISH (née GARRARD.) Special and much loved father of Christopher and Margot McTAVISH. Dear friend of Fran MORRIS. Predeceased by siblings Dan McTAVISH and Audrey KELLY- BEAMISH. Will be sadly missed by the McTAVISH and Garrard nieces and nephews. Stewart will be remembered for his tremendous sense of humour and his love of life. He was an avid outdoorsman and a world traveller. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Hampton Terrace Centre and Appleby Place for their kindness and compassion.
