ASKEW  ASKIN

NOBLE, Eleanor Elizabeth (née McCALLUM)
(January 15, 1925-February 16, 2008)
A resident of Queens Village, London, formally of Shallow Lake, Ontario. Quietly and peacefully, surrounded by her family, Eleanor continued her spiritual journey beyond this life. With loving gratitude for her blessed life, Eleanor will be remembered by, her daughter Wendy NOBLE and Steve COAD, son Kevin NOBLE and Cathy PASTERNAK and grandchildren Paul COAD and Jennifer NEWMAN, Kevin COAD, Erin COAD, Jessica, Brenden and Christopher NOBLE. Eleanor was the wife and soul mate of the late Bertram Jackson NOBLE (1990) and daughter of the late Mary Ellen Hanna McCALLUM and Charles Andrew McCALLUM. Eleanor was predeceased by infant children Judy and Paul, sisters Clara McCALLUM, Anne FAIR, Olive ASKEW and Jean WEISE and brothers Lorne and George McCALLUM. She is survived by sisters in law Ruth WYATT, Ruby GAMBLE and Verna HUSTON and brother-in-law Stanley WEISE. Eleanor is lovingly remembered by her extended McCALLUM and NOBLE families as well as many dear Friends and neighbours. Services will be held on Thursday February 21st at 1: 00 p.m. at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South in London with the Reverend Matthew PENNY officiating. Visitation is on the day of the funeral at 12 noon. A Memorial Service celebrating Eleanor's life will be held in Shallow Lake at a later date with details to be announced. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shallow Lake United Church, the Mission and Service Fund of the United Church of Canada or a charity of choice. We regret to announce the sudden passing July 6 of Shari ASKIN of Fort Nelson, beloved wife of Kevin ELGIE of Redde Pressure Test and Scrubbles Car Washington. Funeral services will be held in Sauble Beach, Ontario at a date to be announced. Memorial services will be held in Fort Nelson at a later date.

ASKIN, Shari Lee (née GALLEN)
Suddenly as the result of an accident, on Sunday, July 6th, 2008. Shari Lee ASKIN in her 47th year of Fort Nelson, British Columbia and formerly of Owen Sound. Loving and devoted companion of Kevin ELGIE. Cherished mother of Nick and Lee ASKIN, both of Fort Nelson. Devoted daughter of Lois GALLEN and the late Robert (1994,) and daughter-in-law of Sylvia ELGIE, both of Owen Sound. Sister of Bob GALLEN and his wife Laurie, of Owen Sound, and John GALLEN and his wife Patricia WILHELM, of Red Earth Creek, Alberta; and sister-in-law of Pamela ELGIE, of Idaho. Sadly missed by her niece Carly; nephew Robby; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and Friends. Family invite Friends to call at the Sauble Christian Fellowship (church), 28 Southampton Parkway, Sauble Beach, on Saturday, July 12, 2008 for visitation from 12: 00-2:00 p.m. where a service celebrating Shari's life will be conducted at 2 o'clock. Cremation to follow with interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas C. Whitcroft Funeral Home and Chapel, Sauble Beach (519) 422-0041.
