ATHANASIOU, Christodoulos (1943-2008)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Chris on Thursday, March 20, 2008, in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Androniki (Niki;) loving father of Effie (Steve GIANNAKOPOULOS) of Stratford, Mario (Melissa) of Strathroy, Phytos (Janette) of Kitchener, and George (Kristal) of Toronto; cherished Papou of Christopher, Nikki, Tommy, Mackenzie, and Ashley; dear brother of George (Tasoula) of Burlington, and Andrea (Elene) and Pollixene (Peter), all of Cyprus. He also will be missed by all of his nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to share their memories of Chris with his family at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Trisagion Prayers will be held at 7: 45 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 527 Bridgeport Rd., Kitchener, on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 1 p.m. with Father Konstantinos CHATZIS officiating. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo followed by a reception in the church hall. Condolences for the family and donations to Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church may be arranged through the funeral home, 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com. In living memory of Chris, a donation will be made by the funeral home to the Trees for Learning Program.

The family of the late Len Earl DELINE would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support to the sudden passing of our beloved husband, step-father, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Thanks to all Friends and neighbours who left cards, flowers, food, donations to charity and who dropped by to see if they could help in any way. Special thanks to Patrick YORKE, Janeen DONNOR, Mario ATHANSIOU and Audrey ROEMMELE who helped Gisela get through the many responsibilities the first couple of weeks. Thanks to Denning Bros. Funeral Home and Reverend Richard Golden for their compassion in the handling of our needs at a very difficult time. Your compassion and support will never be forgotten. Peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the Village of Erin Meadows, Mississauga, at the age of 83. Born in New Bonaventure, Newfoundland, Cluny, moved from Saint_John's to Toronto in 1965 with his wife and 6 children. Predeceased by his loving wife Ruth (née OSMOND) 1988 and his second wife, Clara (née CROZIER) 2007. Dear father of Heather ATHAWES and her husband Ted, Geoff KING and his wife Susan, Ken KING and his wife Linda, Carol EBELS and her husband Michael, Jennifer Lombardi and her husband Luciano, Joy NYLAND and her husband Ron. Cluny will be lovingly remembered by his 12 grandchildren and his brother Doctor Everard KING of Saint_John's, Newfoundland. Visitation at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston on Sunday, March 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, March 17 from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by a Service to celebrate Cluny's life at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery. Deep appreciation to the staff of the Village of Erin Meadows for their devoted and loving care. Donations to the Oakwood Charitable Foundation or World Vision would be appreciated.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the tragic loss of Brenda Ann on Friday, March 7, 2008. Beloved daughter of Ed and Geraldine. Dearest sister of Susan (Jake) and Teresa (Brian). Coolist aunt to Brock, Cloe and Brooklyn. The love of her life Scott ATHERTON, Big Al and Lol. Much loved by many cousins, aunts and uncles. Brenda will be missed by all who knew her and shared her lust for life. She will remain always in our hearts until we are once again together. Family and Friends will be received at Taylor Funeral Home, Newmarket Chapel, 524 Davis Drive, 905-898-2100, on Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint_John Chrysostom Roman Catholic Church on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
