In hospital, in Perth on Sunday, May 4th, 2008, Averil Martha
(Montgomery) Whiteley (retired school teacher) in her 95th year.
Predeceased by her first husband Howard Greenfield, her second husband
Harry Whiteley and her parents Alex and Lizzie (Dixon) Montgomery. Dear
sister of Olive (late Alex) Headrick and family Elaine and Terry
Regnault, Gordon and Gail Headrick and Brenda and Mark Bronson and Dixon
Montgomery and his wife Fern and their family Helen and Bill Kempers,
Norine and Roland Frood, Karen and Guy Fournier and Grant and Suzanne
Montgomery. Loved step-mother of Richard (Sharon) Whiteley of Vancouver
Island and Rob (late Bonnie) and Ron (Loa) Whiteley both of Calgary.
Averil will be fondly remembered by David (Wendy) Barkley, her
grandchildren Stephen and Donna Barkley and Kathy and Nathan West, great
grandchild Ryan, her nieces, nephews, all her family and Friends. Averil
and Howard managed the Canadian Tire Stores in Cochrane and Renfrew. The
family would like to thank special cousin Lois Bolton for her support
over the past years. Friends paid their respects at the Blair and son
Funeral Home, Perth on Tuesday, May 6th, 2008. Funeral service was held
in the Chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment will be held at a later
date in Mindemoya Community Cemetery. Arrangements by Blair and son Funeral

In his 75th year peacefully at L.H.S.C. - University Hospital on February 14th, 2008. Missed by his sons Gary, Greg and Mark and daughters-in-law Irene, Geills and Josie, and his daughter Anna and son-in-law Bill, grandchildren Grace and Adam; Coleson and Nelson AVERY; Timothy, Andrew and David; and former wife Evi KALUZA. Westview Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements. A Mass will be held on Thursday, February 28th at 11: 30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, 739 Browns Line Etobicoke (416-255-2721). Suddenly on April 2, 2008 Mr. Jim BROWN of Forest, formerly London, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Sylvia. Loving father of Jody and her husband Dean LACEY. Dear Grandpa of Garr LACEY. Peacefully, on Thursday June 19th, 2008 at the Sunset Manor, Collingwood, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerry AVERY. Loving mother of Elizabeth "Betty" NORTON (Ross) of Oakville and Barb SPROULE (Wayne) of Wasaga Beach. Grandma of Ian, Dawn, Owen, Daryl and Cameron. Great-grandma of 10, soon to be 11 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother Mike PALANGIO of Alma, Quebec. Friends were received at the J.S. LITTLE, Berniece Margaret (née AVERY) (1918-2007)
Peacefully on Monday, December 31, 2007 at Hazelton Place Retirement Residence in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Doctor Marcus Harvey LITTLE, and mother of Marcus (Alanna, predeceased,) Natalie (Paul RAYMOND,) and David (Lori McDONALD.) Loving grandmother of Marcus and Nicholas RAYMOND. She also leaves her dear sister-in-law Jean AVERY, nieces Margaret, Lorna, Susan, nephew Edward, her great friend and cousin Dawn MacDONALD, and many family and Friends in Canada, the U.S., and Australia. Special thanks, to the staff at Saint Michael's Hospital and to everyone at Hazelton Place. Berniece was a proud nursing graduate of Saint Michael's Hospital. She loved her winters in Arizona, and her garden at Emohruo, her cottage in Peterborough. Fiercely independent, she had only recently moved into Hazelton Place, where she had a wonderful last few months playing bridge, following the stock market and making new Friends. The family of Berniece will receive Friends at Hazelton Place, 111 Avenue Road on Friday, January 4th, from 5: 30-7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Michael's Hospital Staff Tuition Assistance Fund, either online or at 416-864-5000, would be appreciated. Peacefully Wednesday April 16, 2008 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, Ottawa, Ontario. Former resident of Lynwood Park Lodge. Predeceased by husbands David M. CONLON and Doctor Albin T. JOUSSE, brother Wilfred "Lefty" TIERNEY and his wife Louva. Survived by nieces Bev (Joe DORAN) and Dawn (Phil BROWN,) step-daughters Eileen WOLOSHYN, of Kingston, Ontario, and Sheila AVERY, of West Hill, Ontario, as well as great nieces, nephews and cousins Bill and Sheila DOBIE, of Scotland. Margaret lived a very happy and full life. She was an avid golfer, world traveller and a great storyteller, her secret to long life was a positive outlook. According to Margaret's wishes there will be no visitation. Funeral Saturday April 19, 2008 at Saint Martin de Porres Church, 3891 Richmond Road, Bells Corners, for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 a.m. Reception to follow Mass at Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue (Barrhaven).
