Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Hospital on Saturday, May 10, 2008, June MUSSOLUM (née DAWSON) at the age of 76. Beloved wife of George MUSSOLUM. Loving mother of Michael MUSSOLUM and his wife Sharon of Edmonton, Alberta and Stewart MUSSOLUM and his wife Joyce BYRNE of London, Ontario. Dear grandmother of Matthew and Kathleen. Dear sister of Eddie and Frank BAKER and Elaine BARNES and her husband Don and their children. June will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Tuesday morning from 11 o'clock until the time of the Memorial Service at 12 noon. Interment in Saint Peter's Cemetery. Donations to the London Regional Cancer Program, c/o L.H.S.C. or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

TAILOR/TAYLOR, Robert Todd
With his family by his side, Robert Todd TAILOR/TAYLOR of Saint Thomas passed away at the Saint Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday May 22, 2008 at the age of 65. Beloved husband and best friend of Donna TAILOR/TAYLOR (née REED.) Loving step-father to Colleen HARLING (Walter) of London and Scott McGREGOR (Teresa) of Saint Thomas. Dear father of Chris TAILOR/TAYLOR of Oshawa, Scott TAILOR/TAYLOR of Bowmanville, Patricia TAILOR/TAYLOR of Peterborough, Noelle TAILOR/TAYLOR of Courtice, and Charlene WELLS of Warkworth. Special dad to Teresa CHERRY and a loved Pa of twelve grandchildren. Bob is survived by his mother Dorothy HILL, father-in-law A.J. REED (late Margaret REED,) sister-in-law Irene JONES, brother-in-law Wayne REED, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was a big brother to Benny TAILOR/TAYLOR (Connie,) Kim HILL (Donna,) Jan HILL (Monica,) and a new Doggy Daddy to Muffin. Bob started his career with the Royal Canadian Air Force, worked with many great people at Conrail, Waltersheid, and finally retired from Knoch Mfg. Friends will be received at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas (519-631-0570) on Monday May 26, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1: 30 p.m. with Father Pat BYRNE officiating. Peacefully at Chez Nous Lodge in Stoney Point, on July 7th, 2008, Mrs. Norma Marion TURPIN of London in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Fred TURPIN. Loving mother of Marilyn and her husband John MAHONEY, Gary and his wife Cecilia of Edmonton, and Lorraine and her husband Daniel FERGUSON. Dear grandmother of Susan (Steve BYRNE), Bob MAHONEY (Heather), Jim TURPIN (Ce Ce), Tim TURPIN (Bonnie), Shaun TURPIN (Jenn), and Carrie ADDIS. She will be sadly missed by 11 great-grandchildren. Words cannot express our thanks to Susan, Steve, Jimmy and Ce Ce for the help and compassion shown to grandma during her illness and time in Stoney Point. Visitation in the Lloyd R. Peacefully at Saint Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 Max A. DENNIS of Aylmer, formerly of Straffordville age 85 years. Dear friend of the late Audrey SEYMOUR. Beloved brother of Nancy BYRNE of Ancaster, and Clare DENNIS of Hagersville, and brother-in-law of Annie DENNIS of Port Dover. Also, survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Max was predeceased by his parents Ivan and Ethel DENNIS; sister Gweneath THAR; brother Jack DENNIS; brother-in-law Norman BYRNE, and sister-in-law Joanne DENNIS. Max was a life member of Ashlar Lodge #701 Tillsonburg a member of the Palestine Chapter #54 Saint Thomas; a life member of Mocha Temple in London; a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #81 Aylmer, and a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Otter Lodge #50 Tillsonburg. DOAN, Arthur " Bruce"
Of Saint Thomas, passed away on Saturday, July 19th, 2008, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Winnie Ann (ROSS) DOAN and dearly loved father of Michele Ann and her husband Dave FOWLER of Saint Thomas, Beverley Elizabeth and her husband John PARKER of Saint Thomas and the late Michael Bruce DOAN (1971.) Dear brother of and John "Warren" DOAN and his wife Mary Jane of Saint Thomas and the late Marion Helen SINCLAIR and Maxwell "Max" DOAN. Loved grandfather of Chad (Lori) and Ben (Natalie FOWLER, Andrew PARKER (friend Sarah HIRST) and the late Michael and Matthew PARKER. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Bruce was born in Yarmouth Township on May 2nd, 1923, the son of the late Hugo Felker and Alice Irene (MITCHELL) DOAN. He spent all his life in Saint Thomas except for 2 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force Bruce was a retired probation officer, a member of St. Hilda's-St. Luke's Anglican Church, a Flight Officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force, a 15 year member of the Elgin Regiment (Lt. Col.), a former member of the Yarmouth #2 Fire Department, a member of the Association for Community Living, the Elgin Military Museum, and the Golden "K" Kiwanis Club and the Saint Thomas Curling Club. A service to celebrate Bruce's life will be held Saturday, July 26th at 11: 00 a.m. at St. Hilda's-St. Luke's Anglican Church (Elm Street,). Saint Thomas. Rev. Pat BYRNE officiating. Entombment of the ashes in South Park Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to St. Hilda's-St Luke's Anglican Church or the Alzheimer Society of Elgin. LOCKHART, George W. (1909-2008)
Passed away peacefully on July 5th, 2008, in his 99th year. He is survived by his wife, Reta (STEWARD/STEWART/STUART, GATES) of Victoria, British Columbia; daughter-in-law, Barbara in Orillia, Ontario; three grandchildren, Kerry BYRNELL and her husband, Alan in Barrie, Ontario, George LOCKHART in Aurora, Ontario, and Michael LOCKHART and his wife, Wendy in Kitchener, Ontario; eight great-grandchildren, and six nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his former wife, Doris (JACKSON) in 1991; his grand-daughter, Lisa in 1983 and his son, Douglas in 2008. By profession he was an Accountant working mainly in the agricultural field. He was a "D-Day" veteran of the Canadian Scottish regiment in World War 2. Loving mother of Roland and his wife Ginnette, Gerald and his wife Louise, all of Montreal, Lorraine and her husband Reg BYRNES of Capreol, Ontario, Pauline FOURNIER of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Marcel and his wife Lucie, Claudette BELANGER- PERRY and her husband John of Florida, Maurice and his wife Alice and Norman, all of London and the late Lilliane LEMAY. Also loved by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. After a brave fight with cancer, when Douglas Gordon BYRNS had finished the race the Lord had laid out for him, the Lord came for him to take him to the place He had prepared for him as He had faithfully promised. (John 14, Romans 8). At the Norman Site of Bluewater Health on Monday, June 2nd, 2008, Douglas Gordon BYRNS of Forest. Dearly missed by his loving wife Penny. Doug is survived by sisters Elizabeth (Gerald), Edith and Jean and brother Robert (Vi). Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Thomas and Jessie and brothers Tom and Stan. Proud and skilled member of Local #1256 Carpenters Union. Doug was a faithful member of Forest Baptist Church, holding numerous positions. As long as he could, he was an AWANA listener. BYRON RICHARD DEBASSIGE
In loving memory of Byron Richard Debassige, January 15, 1980 - February
16, 2008. Byron, a resident of Toronto, tragically passed away into the
Spirit World on February 16, 2008. The loving son of Jennifene Debassige
(partner Mike Vigneault) of M'Chigeeng and Kenneth Assinewe of Barrie.
Loving brother of Adam Debassige of M'Chigeeng, Angie Assinewe of Toronto
and Kyle King Assinewe of Parry Sound. Predeceased by Melissa Vigneault
and grandparents Thomas Debassige and Bertha Migwans of M'Chigeeng.
Grandson of Martin Assinewe and Mary Assinewe of Sagamok. Byron will be
greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Byron
had a great love for music. He had many ambitions for a career in the
music he loved so much. Friends called at the M'Chigeeng Complex after
1.00 p.m. on Thursday. The funeral mass was celebrated at the complex on
Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 11.00 a.m. with Fr. Jim Kelly as
