DYE, Robert David " Rob"
Suddenly at Georgetown Hospital on Tuesday April 29, 2008 at the age of 45, with his special friend Ann DUSKO at his side. Rob was the loving father of Kaitlyn and Madison, both at home, the beloved son of Noreen and Bob DYE of Ridgetown, and the dear brother of Renee DYE of Mississauga. Also surviving is his former wife Natalie DYE. Rob was born in Winnipeg in 1963 and moved, with his parents, to the Greater Toronto area in 1965. He spent most of his life living and working in Mississauga, moving to Georgetown in 2002. While growing up in Mississauga Rob became very well known in both Toronto and Mississauga in minor hockey and baseball. Rob's work life was spent mainly in the automotive repair business where he managed the body repair departments for several Mississauga car dealers. The family will receive Friends on Thursday May 1, 2008 from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the J.S. Jones Funeral home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd. Georgtown, and on Friday May 2, 2008 from 2: 00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown. The Funeral Service will be conducted from the McKinlay Funeral Home on Saturday May 3, 2008 at 1: 30 p.m. with Rev. Judith FAYTER of Erie Street United Church officiating. Interment in Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate, Ontario. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Capital Building Fund of Erie Street United Church. Peacefully, with his family at his side, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Glen CRAIGIE of Owen Sound in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of June (nee RAWN.) Dear father of Penny GALBRAITH, Glendon James and his wife Nancy, Cheryl-Lynn and her husband Ronald GALBRAITH, Katherine and her husband Vern DYER all of Owen Sound and Janice and her husband Jack SEAMAN of Annan. Sadly missed by seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Jean HACKETT of Barrie. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home 519-376-3710 for visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock with Pastor Brian JASPER officiating. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Peacefully surrounded by her family on March 13, 2008 in her 83rd year, at Saint Peter's Hospital. Beloved mother of Bob (Terry) and Fred (Delma). Cherished Nan of Kim, Kelly, Sean, Scott, Keith (Suzanne) and Kevin (Amanda). Loving Great-Nan of Cameron, Brandon, Bailey, Kassandra, and Michael. Survived by sisters Pat REDMOND and Amy KITCHENER, and brothers Bill (Marg) DYER and Chuck (Lil) DYER. Predeceased by sisters Rose, Nell and Lil and her brother Fred. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive Friends at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, 905-387-2111 on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 3 p.m. Inez will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband John OSBORNE in the spring time.
