Collision Claims One Life
Grey County O.P.P. was called to a serious crash south of Durham
Saturday afternoon, March 1 that claimed the life of a Cambridge
woman.
The crash occurred on Highway 6, just south of Varney, near Southgate
Road 24 at about 4: 00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1. A southbound
2007 Nissan Sentra driven by a 34-year-old female of Cambridge,
crossed into the oncoming northbound lane where it was struck
by a 1998 Suzuki Sidekick operated by 75-year-old female of Durham.
The right rear side of the Sentra was impacted.
A passenger in the rear seat of the Nissan Sentra vehicle died
from injuries sustained. She has been identified as 48 year-old
Cindy EAVES of Cambridge.
None of the injuries to the other occupants of either involved
vehicle are now viewed as life-threatening.

nephew Neil of Sarnia and many other nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by his brothers George and Jack
McCAHILL.
Neil was born in Forest,
Ontario on June 2, 1910 to Donald and Pearl
McCAHILL. He was
married to Margaret Helen
EVOY in Quebec on December 21, 1936.
He spent most of his years as a financial advisor to various
companies including President of Sales for Canadian Canners (Aylmer).
One of Neil's greatest joys was the winters he and Margaret spent
in Jamaica Bay Park in Florida. He was a proud member of the
Middlesex/London Kiwanis Club, London Lions Club and the Canadian
Professional Sales Association of which he was a life member.
At Neil's request cremation has taken place and a celebration
of his life will take place at a later date. Denning Bros. Funeral
