Mary was active in many community
activities and a of Northside United Church. She cherished time
spent with her family, grandchildren and Friends. Over the years
she enjoyed lawn bowling and reporting club news. Her love of
gardening, cooking and quilting was evident by her successes
at the Fall Fair. Visitation will be held at the Whitney-Ribey
Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth on Friday from
2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 23
at 11: 00 a.m. at Northside United Church, Seaforth. Interment
Harpurhey Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Northside
United Church, Seaforth Community Hospital, Seaforth Lawn Bowling

Ridley College and later served as Chairman of their Board. He
went on to attend the University of Western Ontario from 1945-1951,
where he was an outstanding athlete who played football for the
Western Mustangs and was a member of the 1948 Olympic Track Team.
As an ophthalmologist, he was a highly respected surgeon and
teacher. Don was a loving husband and wonderful father who especially
cherished his time with family and Friends at Gull Island, Muskoka.

A private family service will take place on Saturday, March 8.
Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. A public memorial service will
be conducted on Friday, March 28 at 11: 00 a.m. at the Church
of Saint_John the Evangelist, 280 Saint_James Street at Wellington,
London. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Ridley
College, P.O. Box 3013, 2 Ridley Road, St. Catharines, Ontario

formerly of Meaford, passed away peacefully at Georgian Heights
in Owen Sound where they had been currently residing, on Monday
May 5, 2008, at the age of 91. Born in Trafalgar, Mary was the
daughter of the late William and Olive (née
JOHNSTONE)
McCLURE.
She was predeceased by her brother James William
McCLURE.
Mary
will be fondly remembered as a dear sister-in-law by Margaret

and as a dear aunt by her several nieces and their families.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Ferguson Funeral Home,
48 Boucher St. E., Meaford, N4L 1B9 (519-538-1320) on Wednesday
May 7 at 3: 30 p.m. with interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
