Passed peacefully away at Fiddick's Nursing Home, Petrolia on
Monday, April 14. She was the beloved wife of the late Hugh (Barney)
MacCOLL (1989.) Beulah was born on February 05, 1913 on the 10th Line
East (Petrolia Line) to Margaret
(McLEAN) and Walter
FISHER.
She attended church in her early years at St. Andrew's Brooke
and Enniskillen United Church and attended school on the Tenth
Line. In her early twenties she moved to Regina to live with
her grandfather George
FISHER.
Upon returning she met and married
her husband Barney in 1938 and lived in Petrolia. They purchased
a house on Greenfield Street in 1947 where she lived until 2003
when she moved to Fiddick's Retirement Home. Shortly after Barney's
illness in the 50's she returned to high school and completed
her commercial diploma, then obtaining employment at a local
bank until he was able to return to work at Polymer several years
later. She was an active member of many organizations including
a monthly Bridge Club, the Girl Guides of Canada, the Elizabeth
Council of the Universal Craftsmen Council of Engineers, the
Petrolia and Enniskillen Fair Board and the Central Enniskillen
Women's Institute. She has been a participating member of St. Andrew's
Presbyterian Church for 69 years. She was an avid quilter, teaching
both her daughters to quilt and producing quilts for all her
grandchildren. In her 80's she learned to tole paint and spent
many enjoyable hours painting various projects. She loved to
knit and continued this hobby until the last month of her life.
Beulah attended many exercise classes which she said kept her
flexible and in good health. Her many trips with Charlie were
a special pastime and she attained her goal of visiting both
the east and west coasts of Canada. Beulah was the last surviving
member of a family of eight. She was predeceased by her sisters

will be held at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia, on Thursday,
April 17, 2008 at 2 o'clock, with visitation from 1 p.m. to service
time. Rev. George
BELL officiating. Interment will follow in
Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia. Due to Beulah's lifelong commitment
to her church, expressions of sympathy through donations to St. Andrew's
Presbyterian Church, Petrolia or the Fiddick's Nursing Home Activity
Fund would be appreciated. Memories and condolences may be sent

Neil was born in Forest,
Ontario on June 2, 1910 to Donald and Pearl
McCAHILL. He was
married to Margaret Helen
EVOY in Quebec on December 21, 1936.
He spent most of his years as a financial advisor to various
companies including President of Sales for Canadian Canners (Aylmer).
One of Neil's greatest joys was the winters he and Margaret spent
in Jamaica Bay Park in Florida. He was a proud member of the
Middlesex/London Kiwanis Club, London Lions Club and the Canadian
Professional Sales Association of which he was a life member.
At Neil's request cremation has taken place and a celebration
of his life will take place at a later date. Denning Bros. Funeral
