The family of the late Paul WATSON wish to express their gratitude to the staff at the Cancer Clinic, especially Doctor HOWSON- JAN, Dr. XENOCOSTAS, and Doctor VINCENT for the excellent care during the past 5 years. A special thank you to Connie MORRISON, Mary CHRISTIE and the nurses in the chemo room who made the visits easier for us. We acknowledge Doctor JEJE and the nurses on the 7th floor, Victoria Hospital for the excellent care given to Paul in December 2007. We appreciated the visit from Bill BESTERD, Rick DONAHUE, and John MELVIN. Thank you to Paul's colleagues at the Plumber's Union Local 593 who showed their support. Thank you to our family and Friends for the cards, masses, donations, phone calls, visits and prayers. Your thoughtfulness and kindness is appreciated. Angela Watson and Family

Peacefully at his home in Port Franks on Monday, June 9th, 2008. Gerry will be deeply missed by his loving family. Wife and friend of 48 years Gladys (née MORRISON,) daughters Jody and son-in-law Daniel BOILEAU (Sechelt, British Columbia), Jennifer and son-in-law Paul BROUWER (London.) " Grampy" to Allison and Thea, his little sweethearts who will miss him dearly. Born in Morcambe, England in 1933, Gerry emigrated to Canada in 1948 with his late parents Jack and Jane SHAW. Survived by siblings Kathleen MacDONALD (Don) of London, Phyllis NEEDHAM (Don ELLIS) of Wasaga Beach, David SHAW (Janet) of Glenwood, Newfoundland. and Anne MUIR (Wilson) of Wasaga Beach. Gerry will be missed by Ross and Louise MORRISON of Mount Forest and Grant and Elsie MORRISON of Courtney, British Columbia. Gerry will also be missed by many nieces and nephews who have fond memories of their summer visits to the cottage. A long time resident of London, Ontario, Gerry moved to the cottage in his retirement after 45 years service at the London Free Press, where he made several lifelong Friends. He was an avid lover of birds and nature, and enjoyed his time spent with Friends and family at Port Franks. Sincere thanks from Gerry's family to Doctor Brian DINGLE and Nancy FULTON at the London Regional Cancer Centre, the nursing staff of C7 300 and Doctor JEJE at Victoria Hospital in London. Heartfelt thanks to the Community Care Access Centre and Palliative teams in London and Lambton County, with special gratitude for the compassionate care provided by nurses Linda BURNS and Margaret KAWASE. Visitation will be held at St. Christopher's Roman Catholic Church in Forest (68 Union St.) on Friday, June 13th, 2008 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. followed by Memorial Funeral Mass at 12 p.m. with Fr. Gerard BEDARD celebrant. Private interment of cremated remains will take place at St. Peters Cemetery in London at a later date. Donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Christopher's Church Building Fund or the London Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences may be left online at Arrangements entrusted to Ronn E. Dodge Funeral Home (519-786-2401). In memory of Gerry, a living tribute has been planted.
