McINTYRE, Duncan
A special thanks to Doctor ARUNASALAM and the F-Wing nurses and caregivers at the Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville. They went beyond professionalism, by their compassion and care during Duncan's illness and passing. Their warmth and understanding during a very difficult and stressful time will always be remembered. Thanks to family, Friends and neighbours for calls, cards, food brought to our home, beautiful flowers, prayers and visits. All these helped to lift my sad heart and made me realize just how rich Duncan and I were; if all the love from everyone could be measured we would be millionaires. A thank you to the Doney Funeral Home staff for their assistance and direction. The Masonic Lodge No. 449 of Dundalk honored Duncan with a special service Wednesday evening. Reverend TIPPING and Reverend BELLSMITH led a lovely service. My daughter Bonnie PALUBISKI and granddaughter Jennifer FAWCETT gave a lovely eulogy for Duncan. The service was blessed with heavenly songs - "In The Garden" and "On The Wings of a Snow White Dove," sang by angels by the names of Doreen LYON and Alice HIGGINSON. Thank you to the pallbearers - son Kenneth McINTYRE, grand_sons Jason THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, Robert FAWCETT, - David PALUBISKI and nephews Don and Marten McINTYRE. Honorary pallbearers were Rick ZEGGIL, Howard and Mel HANNON and Don GORDON. Thank you to the flowerbearers - grandchildren Tyler THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, Jennifer FAWCETT, Nicole THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON nieces - Patti BERGERON, Wendy GORDON and Kathy MEEKS.
Following a heartfelt funeral service, family, Friends and neighbors gathered for one last meal on Duncan. With thanks to the Shelburne Trinity United Church Women for providing a delicious lunch, where we shared memories and celebrated the life of Duncan Kenneth McINTYRE. The love and support of all have helped to give me strength. I pray God will Bless All for their kindness and generosity. My sincere appreciation and thanks.
June McINTYRE
