MARSHMAN, Elsie (née SHUTLER)
Of Elgin Manor and formerly of Port Stanley passed away on Friday, May 23rd, 2008, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Hubert MARSHMAN (1996) and dear mother of Heather and her husband Bob HEWITT of Welland, Noreen and her husband Richard LANNING of Port Stanley and Molly MARSHMAN and her friend Hector NUNEZ of Toronto. Loved grandmother of Tom and his wife Diane LANNING and Catherine and her husband Russ MOORE. Sadly missed by 5 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ben and his wife Jean SHUTLER of England. Predeceased by 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Elsie was born in England on May 1st, 1920, the daughter of the late Sidney and his wife Olive DOWNER) SHUTLER. She came to Canada in 1947 formerly and lived 32 years in Welland and then Port Stanley. A private family service will be held. No visitation. Cremation, with interment of ashes in Union Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Elgin Children's Foundation or the Easter Seals. Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas in charge of arrangements.

NUNN, Doris May
Of Owen Sound, formerly of Ferndale and Cambridge, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2008 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late John Stanley (Jack) NUNN (1998.) Cherished mother of Margaret (David) McCALLUM of Miller Lake, Donna (Jim) BEVAN of Cambridge, John NUNN (Lynn HOPPS) of Waterloo and Betty UMBACH (Jack HUTTON) of Wiarton. She will be sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, brothers Gerald (Margaret) HAMILTON of Winnipeg and Larry (Janet) HAMILTON of Cambridge and sister Dorothy (Paul) HOCH of Kincardine. Doris was predeceased by her parents Dorothy (WALLER) and Russell HAMILTON, 2 brothers and 1 sister. A graveside service will be held at Eastnor Cemetery spring 2008. Details will be posted when available. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the George Funeral Home, Wiarton. Donations made to the Wiarton Hospital or Lion's head Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. BOYER, Lizabeth " Betty" (née SMITH)
Of Eden, formerly of Saint Thomas, passed away at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday, March 31, 2008, in her 62nd year. Dearly loved mother of Lisa THOONEN and her husband Mark, and cherished grandmother of Taylor and Tanner THOONEN, all of Aylmer. Dear sister of Rosemary NUNN of Saint Thomas, the late Donald G. SMITH (1982) and the late Gary J. SMITH (2003.) Loved aunt of Dean NUNN of Calgary, Alberta and Darla NUNN of Saint Thomas. Also fondly remembered by one aunt and several cousins. Born in Saint Thomas, April 8, 1946, the daughter of the late Jack and Pearl (McLACHLIN) SMITH. Betty was a retired clerk at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital where she worked in the Central Registry Department for over 25 years. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and private interment will be made in Elmdale Memorial Park. A public memorial service to celebrate Betty's life will be held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Friday, April 4th at 11: 00 a.m. Friends and relatives will be received by the family on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to Pets/Friends for Life or the charity of one's choice gratefully appreciated.

At Belvedere Heights, Parry Sound on Wednesday April 23, 2008. Peter Orwell HONSINGER of McKellar in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Patricia (ARTHUR) HONSINGER. Dear father of Charles HONSINGER and wife Jeannie of Saint Thomas, Brian HONSINGER and wife Cathy of Aylmer, Lynn BURWELL and husband Kevin of Aylmer and Pearl McROBERTS of Parry Sound. Loved by his grandchildren. Brother of Ben HONSINGER and his wife Lea of Aylmer, Theresa NUNN of Saint Thomas and Ada PAUPST of Aylmer. Predeceased by brothers, Homer, Norman and Joe HONSINGER. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Saint Thomas, Ontario on December 19, 1933 son of the late Norman and Ruby (CARTER) HONSINGER. Pete had worked for Truman Motors, and UAP in London and Aylmer. He retired in 1987 and moved to Parry Sound. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer 12: 30-3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2008 followed by the funeral service at 3: 00 p.m. The Rev. Michael WELLWOOD, Padre to Branch #81, Royal Canadian Legion, Aylmer will officiate. Cremation to follow and burial of ashes in Springfield Cemetery at a later date. KLINCK, Margaret Eleanor (née METZGER)
(December 4, 1920-April 26, 2008)
Margaret passed peacefully into eternal life and light on April 26th in Chilliwack, British Columbia, surrounded by her loving family. Cherished mother of Julie KOENIG, Peggy and Peter HILDEBRAND, Jackie NUNNS, Jonathan and Sue KLINCK. Treasured grandmother of Laura and Chris GEBERDT; Anne KOENIG and fiance Laurence SPENCER Philip KOENIG; David SEIFERT; Chris McELLIGOTT and fiancee Marie-Pierre TENDLAND- FRENETTE; Joss, A.J. and Simon KLINCK. Great-grandmother of Conrad and Samuel GEBERDT. Precious sister of Alice and Claus ANDRESS. Much loved 'Auntie Marg' to many nephews and nieces and their families. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack, parents Alvin and Laura METZGER, brother John and nephew Bob METZGER. Margaret was born in Hanover, Ontario and it remained her home for the next 80 years. She married, raised her family, became a successful businesswoman and served in her church and community. In early 2001, Margaret moved to Chilliwack to live with her son Jonathan and his family. Margaret was an incredible woman whose love for her family and Friends took priority in her life. Her home was a place where people found a warm welcome, good food and lots of fun. Those people whose lives she touched valued her encouragement and practical support. Margaret's faith and her commitment to her community led to her involvement in many projects and activities at St. Matthew's and the wider church, with the Hanover Hospital and at Participation Lodge. She will always be remembered for her generosity, her strength, her sense of humour and her love of life. A celebration of Margaret's life will be held at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hanover on Saturday, May 3rd at 11: 00 a.m. Interment at the Hanover Cemetery will follow. Donations to Global Hunger or Participation Lodge would be greatly appreciated by the family, in lieu of flowers. Arrangements by Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
