Many of Mom's
dearest family and Friends have passed before her. These faces
she has dreamed of for so long. She has now returned to. Our
beautiful, loving Mom, Bubba and Nanny has left this life in
which she faced her challenges with courage and strength, Mom,
thank you for your lifetime of generous and unconditional compassion
and love which shall be a part of all of us forever. The Circle

Dear brother of Dorothy (Walter
KILBY) of Mount Hope and the
late Herb, Alvin, Mildred, Alberta and Helen. Also missed by
many nieces and nephews. For 30 years prior to his retirement
in 1975, Nelson was the Executive Vice President of the Society
of Industrial Cost Accountants of Canada, and for 25 of those
years he also served as Secretary Treasurer of The Society of
Industrial Cost Accountants of Ontario (now called The Society
of Management Accountants). Nelson was also active in a number
of community groups such as the Children's Aid Society, the Hamilton
District Health Council and the Ontario Research Council. Upon
his retirement, he continued his interest in community work.
He organized and became the first Manager of DARTS, the first
Executive Director of the Saint_Joseph's Hospital Foundation, Treasurer
of the Council on Road Trauma, and President of the Alzheimer
Society of Hamilton- Wentworth. His memberships included: the
Rotary Club of Hamilton, Canadian Club of Hamilton, Probus Club
of Burlington and the Burlington Baptist Church. He received
many honours including: The Centennial Medal (1967), First-ever
Fellow, Society of Management Accountants (1976), The Queen Silver
Anniversary Medal (1977), the Governor General's Caring Canadian
Award (2000). Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance
will be held at Burlington Baptist Church, 2225 New Street, Burlington,
on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at 2 p.m. If desired, memorial
contributions to The Saint_Joseph's Hospital Foundation or the
Gary Allan Scholarship Fund, would be appreciated by the family.

The family is saddened to announce the passing of June
ORR on
March 6, 2008. She passed away peacefully at the Queensway Carleton
Hospital in Ottawa surrounded by her family. June was predeceased
by her beloved husband Robert (Bob) James
ORR on August 28, 1989.
June leaves behind her son David (Lori) of Stony Creek, Ontario,
and "her twins" - Pamela of Calgary, Alberta and Paul of Ottawa,
Ontario. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Lindsay and
Katlyn.
June was born in Orangeville, Ontario on June 28, 1927, the cherished
only child of Wilfred and Nettie
IRWIN.
June graduated as a Registered
Nurse from the Toronto General Hospital in 1949 and subsequently
married Bob (B. Sc., M. Sc, 1949 - University of Toronto) on
June 29, 1950. June and Bob then moved to Sarnia, Ontario where
June worked at the Sarnia General Hospital prior to starting
her family. Bob started his career as a research chemist with
Polymar. They were active members of Central United Church where
Bob used to entertain fellow members of the congregation with
his stories and jokes at the coffee gatherings held after the
service. They then moved to Ottawa in 1971 where June worked
as an R.N. at the Ottawa Civic Hospital and from where she retired
in 1986. Bob finished his career in Ottawa with the Department
of National Defense. They continued to enjoy the camaraderie
of Britannia United Church in Ottawa where June remained an active
member after Bob's passing.
The family especially wishes to thank Edith
MURUNGI for the kind
care, compassion and companionship that she provided to our mother
in her last years.
Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home 2313 Carling
Avenue (West of Carlingwood) Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral
Service Monday in the chapel at 11: 00 a.m. Interment at Pinecrest
Cemetery.

Our dear Lorrie died quietly at his home on Thursday March 6.
son of Pioneers and a pioneer himself, Lorenz Paul (Lorrie)
BLASER
was born at his parents' homestead in Saskatchewan where they
farmed after immigrating to Canada in the 1890's. Growing up,
his family realized that, while he wouldn't make a good farmer,
Lorenz loved mathematics, so they found the money to send him
to high school and university in Saskatoon where he became a
Chemical Engineer
first of his family ever to attend university. He began working
with British American Oil Company, digging ditches in the Calgary
refinery, rising through the engineering ranks to management.
B.A. Oil became Gulf Oil Canada and he ended his career as President
of the Gulf Canada Products Company.
Lorrie felt himself very lucky to have won the love of two wonderful
women: Marjorie
ORR of Calgary his wife for 52 years until her
passing in 1993, and his second wife
Dorothy
LIVEY who enriched
his last 8 years with love and devoted care.

BLASER will miss their dear Papa immensely
but are grateful for his generous and constant love, and the

Stacey, Beverley and so many more.
Visiting on Friday, March 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Northlea
United Church, 125 Brentcliffe Road. A memorial service will
be held Saturday, March 15, 2: 30 p.m. at Northlea with visiting
one hour prior to service.

blue and sparkling ocean views and the hanging baskets and brilliant
flowers of Victoria's residential gardens. Willa was a very kind
and gentle spirit who enjoyed the support of family and close
Friends over many years at Woodland Beach, Don Mills, and with
the Hustler Bible Class, the Diplomats from Georgina Lodge, St. Hilda's
Towers and Somerset House. Willa will be dearly missed, loved
and thought of so fondly throughout the remainder of our lives.
A small service with visitation 1 hour prior, will be held in
Willa's honour at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St.
(at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Saturday, February 2nd, 2008
