PLANT-
RICHMOND,
Geoffrey
Patrick
After a courageous fight against melanoma, Geoff passed away
at Princess Margaret Hospital on Thursday May 15, 2008 at the
age of 53. Loving husband of 20 years to Maureen and proud father
of Geoffrey and Graham. Geoff also leaves behind his mother Mary
RICHMOND
(John
RICHMOND,) father Patrick
PLANT, sisters Julia
(Gilles OUELLETTE) and Peggy (Martin
GUEST.) He will be deeply
missed by the Graham Family and his many nieces and nephews.
After several years in the Canadian investment industry, Geoff
moved to London, England in 1988 and established not only a substantial
network of clients, but a host of lasting Friendships. The family
moved back to Toronto in 1998. Four years ago, Geoff founded
the investment company Fraser Mackenzie Limited. Geoff will be
remembered for many things… his integrity, reliability, honesty,
individuality and love of his family. He was a gentleman. Geoff
found great comfort and peace, especially in the last year, at
his country place, Folly's End, whether it was tending his lavender,
sitting by the pool with Friends, or walking the property with
his faithful English bull terrier Mr. Wilson. The family would
like to acknowledge the compassion and excellent care of Doctor Svetomir
Markovic,
Mayo
Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota and Doctor David
HOGG,
Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto and their support staff.
Friends may call on Sunday, May 25, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at
R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding south
of Steeles Ave.). A celebration of Geoff's life will be held
at St. Gabriel's Church (670 Sheppard Ave. East of Bayview Ave.
off of Sheppard Ave. East), on Monday, May 26, 2008 at 11: 30 a.m.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Geoffrey's name may
