OXENHAM,
Sheila
Terry (née
MARSHALL)
Passed away peacefully in Toronto on Saturday, February 16th,
2008 in her 59th year. Loving mother to her children Megan (Yan),
Kyle and Rachel. Remembered also by Roger. Cherished daughter
of Dorothy
MARSHALL and the late George
MARSHALL.
Loved niece
of Edith MARSHALL,
Bill
Firth and the late Dolly
MARSHALL. Caring
sister to Craig (deceased), Marian (Marion B.), Helen (Terry),
Bill (Nancy) and Susan (James). She will be missed by nephews
Craig, Scott, Adam, Stephen and Liam and nieces Alison Lesley
and Sarah. Sheila's vibrant life was cut short by a courageous
battle with cancer, making the best of each and every day. Visits
by family and Friends were so special and appreciated. Sheila
devoted herself to her children, her family, business associates
of Interior Care, Friends, neighbours and community, always giving
to others. Sheila's involvement with Christ Church Deer Parks'
Community Outreach Program was especially fulfilling to her.
Sheila will be remembered for her sense of humour, her compassionate
love and care for others, her fun on the tennis courts, gardening,
painting, movies, bridge, cycling, walking and the pure joy she
received from her family dog 'Casi' and yes, she is the 'Queen
of Crosswords'. Special thanks to Doctor Russell
GOLDMAN,
The
Temmy
Latner Centre for Palliative Care Mount Sinai Hospital, dedicated
and loving staff of Bradgate Arms, loving caregivers and Hospice
Toronto Volunteers. 'Celebration of Life' Service will be held
at Christ Church Deer Park, 1570 Yonge Street, north of St. Clair,
N.W. corner of Heath Street, on Friday, February 22nd, 11: 00 a.m.
with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be
made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
