Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London on Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Hugo PUTIKS of London in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Zelma PUTIKS. Dear father of Anita LOW/LOWE/LOUGH and her husband Jack of London. Predeceased by his sister Emily GULBIS. Caring grandfather of Andrea WILKINSON and her husband Gregg of Ailsa Craig and Heather RETTBERG and her husband Dave of Evansville, Indiana and his great-granddaughters Ashley and Danielle WILKINSON. A private family funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Friday, July 25th. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. Surrounded by her loving family, we are sad to announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother at the University Hospital, London, Ontario. Loved wife of the late Victor Thomas BERGLUND. Dearly loved mother of Linda HILL, Susan EWEN (Roger,) Lee-Anne PUTMAN (Don,) and the late Philip Albert BERGLUND and Valerie Jean BERGLUND. Grandmother of Robert Scott HILL, Dean Thomas EWEN (Alison), Douglas Albert EWEN (Rebecca), Pamela Jean KELLY, Kevin Patrick KELLY, and Amanda PUTMAN. Great-grandmother of Ashley, Danica, Tristan, and Teegan. Sister of Vera McKENZIE and cherished by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the staff of the 7th floor, University Hospital, for the compassion and care given to Thelma and family during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation in Celebration of Tiny's Life will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 1: 00-3:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, University Hospital Clinical Neurosciences Stroke Centre or to a charity of choice. CUTLER, Eugene " Gene"
Of Saint Thomas, passed away on Wednesday, July 16th, 2008, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Colleen (BOLTON) CUTLER (July 2nd, 2006) and dearly loved father of Bonnie CUTLER. Dear Brother of Tom and his wife Joyce CUTLER of Saint Thomas and the late Betty PUTMAN (1993). Dear uncle of Penny, Jeff and Alan and great uncle of Grant, Jill and Timmy. Gene was born in Saint Thomas on April 12th, 1922, the son of the late Frank and Lulu (BOYER) CUTLER. He was a retired employee of the Saint Thomas Psychiatric Hospital. Gene loved sports and enjoyed hockey, baseball, football and walking. A private family service will be held Saturday at 11: 00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas. No visitation. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

PUTNAM, James Morrison (1924-2008)
Sadly we announce the passing of our beloved father on April 23rd, from pneumonia. He will be missed by his wife Bunny, his son John (Lena) of Seattle, daughters Carol (Frith) of Halifax, and Susan (Dave) of Calgary, as well as 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Donald, and siblings Audrey and Steve. He will also be missed by sisters Carolyn and Mary, extended family and Friends. Jim was a professional engineer who spent most of his career with Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd. He grew up in Winnipeg, and attended the U. of Saskatchewan. His career took him to Noranda, Quebec, Deep River, Ontario, Pinawa, Manitoba, Argentina, and Milton, Ontario. He retired in Duncan, British Columbia. He was an avid skier, canoeist, and golfer, and was actively involved in the United Church of Canada, and supported many charities. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Ann's Garden Club at Providence Farm, 1843 Tzouhalem Road, Duncan, British Columbia V9L 5L6, where he was a faithful volunteer.

Passed away on Friday April 4, 2008 at Parkwood Hospital, age 80. Beloved wife of the late Norman BIRCHALL (2003) and the late George ARGENT (1970.) Cherished and dearly loved mother of James ARGENT and his wife Liisa and Joanne PUTTOCK and her husband Doug. Loving aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by special granddaughter Sarah and close Friends. At Sheila's request, cremation will be followed by a private interment at Hillcrest Cemetery in Woodbridge, Ontario.
