DONNELLY, Paul
Passed away peacefully on January 29, 2008 at home with his loving partner Diane SLEDZION and his son James DONNELLY. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. He lived most of his young adult life in Cabbagetown, Toronto but returned to Orillia which was his home. He lived a full and colorful life and had many special Friends. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Paul's Life will be held at a later date, as to his wishes on what would have been his 65th birthday - August 6, 2008 at his residence between 2-4 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia (705) 325-2231. Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre - University Campus on Friday, July 18, 2008, Mrs. Kathlyn "Kathie" LEVY (née SLEE) passed away in her 83rd year. Cherished wife of the late Lloyd LEVY (2005.) Dear mother of Sandy DEL PAPA and her husband David, Janis FISHER and her husband Ted, Jon LEVY and his wife Kim. Loving grandma of Michael (Tina), Robert (Trish), Scott (Eowyn), Kari (Michael), Nicole and Erin. Great-Nana to Alexis, Hailey, Alisa, Adria and Brooklyn. Survived by her beloved sister Lynn HARTLEY. Kathie is remembered for her strong love of family, her devotion to Friends and neighbours and her kind and gentle nature. Family will receive Friends at Memorial Funeral Home, 1559 Fanshawe Park Road E., (east of Highbury) for visitation on Sunday, July 20, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 552 Fanshawe Park Road E. on Monday at 11 a.m. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, London Health Sciences Centre or a charity of choice.

At London Health Science Centre-Westminster Campus on Tuesday February 19, 2008. Juliette Barbier of Aylmer in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late William BARBIER (1991.) Dear mother of George BARBIER and wife Lynda of R.R.#6 Tillsonburg, Marilyn VAN ACKER and husband Larry of R.R.#5 Aylmer, and Karen FALK and husband John of R.R.#6, Aylmer. Loved by her grandchildren Sandra CALHOUN and husband Trevor, Ryan VAN ACKER, Duane BARBIER, Leah SLEEGERS and husband Andrew and Ramona FALK. Great-grandmother of Emma CALHOUN, Jenna SLEEGERS and Megan SLEEGERS. Sister of Mary VANDEWIELE and husband Gabriel, Anna BARBIER, and Charles VANDERHOEVEN and wife Dolly. Sister-in-law of Edna DELEEBEECK. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Art, George and Carl VANDERHOEVEN. Born in Wallaceburg, Ontario on November 29, 1923, daughter of the late Emiel and Eliza (MAGERMEN) VANDERHOEVEN. Mrs BARBIER moved to Tillsonburg in 1926 and lived in Aylmer and area since 1946. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers 7: 00 p.m. Thursday. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Aylmer on Friday February 22, 2008 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Father Gilbert SIMARD, officiating. (October 4, 1942-January 29 2008)
Died in hospital after a determined battle with cancer. He gave no quarter-it was taken from him with stunning rapidity by this cruel disease. As was his wish, he was at home almost to the end. Husband of Anne, father of Sosie and Addie, aka Sophia (Tom) and Alexander (Sue.) Brother to Anita (Michael) WHELAN, brother-in-law to Jennifer, Janet and John. Uncle to Rebecca, Dominic, Samantha, Jason, Josephine, Daniel and Thomas. Dear friend to Tony BARRY, Findlay SLEIGH, and Denis CLARK. Deepest thanks to Robert's dedicated team of naturopathic doctors, the staff at Sunnybrook, and the staff of the Temmy Latner Centre at Mount Sinai. Your exceptional care and compassion will never be forgotten. Suddenly, on April 1, 2008 at The Wexford in Toronto. Predeceased by her loving husband of more than 60 years, Gordon. Fondly remembered by son Art (Linda) of North Vancouver; daughter Susan (Rick SCOTT) of Ajax; grandchildren Gillian BURNETT; Adam, Kevin and Adrian SCOTT; Geoff TINKER and Matthew HRYCIW; six great-grandchildren brother Arnold BUDD; brother-in-law Harold of Ottawa and sisters-in-law Sylvia SLEMMESTAD and Dorothy BARNETT of the Greater Toronto Area. Born in St. Catharines on May 23, 1915, Nell graduated from Normal School in Hamilton and went on to teach at Edith Cavell Elementary School in St. Catharines before volunteering to serve with the Canadian Red Cross in London during World War 2. A committed and selfless volunteer until the age of 90, Nell was active in service to Saint_Jude's Anglican Church, the Canadian Red Cross, Bermondsey School, Centennial Hospital and The Wexford and sang in the choirs of St. George's in St. Catharines and Saint_Jude's (Wexford). She will be missed by many whose lives she touched. Visitation at Murray Newbigging Funeral Home, 733 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, on Thursday, April 3rd from 3: 00 p.m. to 5: 00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and at the Church of Saint_Jude (Wexford) on Friday, April 4th from 3: 00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral at Saint_Jude's Wexford, 10 Howarth Avenue, Scarborough, Ontario, on Saturday, April 5th at 2: 00 p.m. Reception to follow.
