Beloved husband of Kathleen (Ryan) WOODBURN for 35 years. Dear father of Karen and Roydon MOON of Cold Lake, Alberta and Brenda and her fiance William HAWKINS of Lucan. Dear grandfather of Elizabeth, Alexandra, Rebecca and Zackery MOON and special granddog Mocha. Loving brother of Doris and Dave CLUNESS of London, Ruby and Fred WINDSOR of Ailsa Craig, Clare and Shirley WOODBURN of Corbett, Bruce and Lorraine WOODBURN of Belleville, Glen WOODBURN and Marlene SHEWAN of Grand Bend, Garry WOODBURN of New Hamburg, Nancy and Howard LAWRENCE of Lucan, Tom WOODBURN and Joy of Cambridge and Irene and Ron KENNEY of Exeter. Peacefully, at her residence in Watford, Ontario, on Monday, July 14, 2008, Sarah E. (CLARK) WREN, formerly of Kippen and Hensall, passed away in her 105th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon WREN (1973.) Dear mother of Ivan and Gertrude of Port Huron, Michigan and the late Alice and Tom SMITH. Loving grandmother of Laurie WREN of Owen Sound, Joan MacDONALD of Phoenix, Arizona and Michael and Ann SMITH of Thompson, Manitoba and great-grandmother of Christopher and Nikki MacDONALD and Joanne MacDONALD. Sadly missed by her niece Doris and the late Erwin BESTARD and their son Kevin and Sue and nephew Clark and Mary FOREST and their family Julie, Lisa and Matthew. Predeceased by her sisters Mary (Robert) BUCHANAN and Ethel (Frank) FORREST and great nephew Brian BESTARD. Sarah and Gordon lived in Kippen and ran the mail route for many years. The funeral service will be conducted in the Hensall Visitation Chapel, 79 King Street, Hensall on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 1 p.m. Visitation 1 hour prior to service time. It is with profound sadness that we announce that after a courageous battle with cancer, Sam passed away on January 18, 2008. The family will receive Friends at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto (2 lights west of Yonge St.) on Tuesday, January 22, 5-8 pm.
Sam's life will be celebrated at a funeral mass to be held at 11: 00 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 24 Cheritan Drive, Toronto.

It is with profound sadness that we announce that after a courageous battle with cancer, Sam passed away on January 18, 2008. Sam leaves behind her beloved husband, Patrick J. WREN, her father Robert (Bob) MacGILLIVRAY, her brothers Bruce MacGILLIVRAY (Karen KEARNEY,) Andrew MacGILLIVRAY (Jody,) her second father Cal WILSON, her niece and goddaughter Bailey MacGILLIVRAY, numerous beloved nieces and nephews, her aunt Betty Glen ROWE (Brent) and Robert CLIPSHAM and Pamela GIBSON. Predeceased by her 'gift in time' Alan CLIPSHAM and her mother Sally MacGillivray WILSON. She will be greatly missed by 'the Bears'. Sam will be remembered for her warmth, generosity and sense of style. Her eye for detail was unmatched, and her organizational talents were legendary. Her love of a good dinner party and her ability to put things together in exactly just the right way was without parallel. No matter where she was, home, Muskoka or Florida, in a boat or on a beach, good food, good wine, great conversation and much laughter was shared by all. HAIR of Lillington, North Carolina, U.S.A. and sister-in-law, Gudrun HOCHMUTH of Munich, Germany. He is also survived by 2 sisters and 2 brothers in Germany, a granddaughter Sean WRENCH, husband Donald and three great-grandchildren: Andrew, Leah and Gregory of Lillington, North Carolina, U.S.A. Private funeral services and cremation was handled by Dods and McNair Funeral Home, Orangeville, Ontario, interment will be in the family plot in Lillington, North Carolina, U.S.A. A tree has been planted in his memory in the Dods and McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A memorial forest dedication service will be held at 2: 30 p.m. on Sunday September 14, 2008 at the Memorial Forest Site.
