GLASSER, beloved husband of the former Melva
HOLLAND
of Neustadt, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre
in Walkerton on Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at the age of 89 years.
He is survived by a brother, Helmuth
GLASSER of Neustadt, brother-
and sisters-in-law Isobel and Harvey
HOLLAND of Hanover, Florence
GLASSER of Neustadt and Gertie
ZIMMERMAN of Hanover. Also a number
of nieces, nephews, cousins and Friends. Predeceased by two sisters,
Edna WALTER and Marjorie
MEPHAM, and two brothers, Leon and Norman
GLASSER.
Friends were received at the Garrett Funeral Chapel in Neustadt
until the morning of Friday, January 18, 2008 then to St. Peter’s
Lutheran Church, Neustadt for funeral services at 11: 00 a.m.

Marianne
Passed away peacefully on March 29th, 2008, at Toronto Western
Hospital. Born June 5, 1922, in Hoechst, Austria, Marianne's
life was characterized by her energy, zest for life, and love
of family. Marianne was a caring, strong, and independent mother,
wife, partner, and friend. She taught us many important lessons
through her hard work, actions, and attitude. She will be greatly
missed and always loved by her partner, Joe
WUNDKE, and her sons
Gus (Ingrid), Fred (Mary), and Terry, as well as her granddaughter
Cindy (Randy), her grand_son Brian (Ellen), her grand_sons Michael
and Matthew, and her great-grandchildren Steven, Shana, Oscar,
and Archer. Marianne was predeceased by her husband August (1965),
her daughter-in-law Renate (1976), her daughter-in-law Marilyn
(2006), and her granddaughter Bernadette (1999). A visitation
will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 31st, followed by a funeral
service at 3 p.m., and reception to follow, at Highland Funeral
Home, 3280 Sheppard Avenue East at Warden Avenue, 416-773-0933.
