McCANN, Nellis Earl
(November 1, 1926-February 13, 2008)
After a long and courageous battle with both kidney disease and Chron's disease, it is with great sadness that we announce his passing at Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga. He was a kind, quiet, patient and gentle man who was loved dearly by his family. Earl is survived by Faye, his loving wife of 56 years, and his daughter Marcia.
God saw you getting tired When a cure was not to be, So he closed his arms around you And whispered 'Come to me' In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away, Our hearts were truly broken, You fought so hard to stay, But when we saw you sleeping Peacefully and free from pain, We could not wish you back To suffer that again.
Funeral service at Saint_John the Baptist Dixie Anglican Church, 719 Dundas St E, Mississauga, L4Y 2B5 on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 3 p.m. Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.

MacCANNELL, Joan
In loving memory of a dear wife and mom who left us suddenly on February 1, 2007
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
If love could bring you back, you'd still be here with us today.
Missing you in our hearts and forever in our thoughts,
- Love always, Ken, Debbie and Dan, Darryl, Dana and Brent, Justin, Bailey and Jill.
