Died suddenly in hospital of cancer, February 4, 2008, in Portland,
Oregon, U.S.A. Jay was born in Toronto,
son of the late Doctor F.R.
WILKINSON and the late poet and writer Anne
(GIBBONS)
WILKINSON.
He leaves behind his brother Alan G. of Inglesham House, Swinden,
Wiltshire, United Kingdom his sister Heather
KONTAXOPOULOS and
family George, Robert, Katherine of Vancouver.
In 1976 while living in Vancouver he met his beloved and caring
Vivian HOLSTROM later to be married in Portland, Oregon to the
great happiness of his immediate family, cousins and close Friends.
Jay continued to persue his avid interest in photography and
music (cello) while living a quiet life in Portland shared always
with his endearing family pets. He continued to maintain his
connections with Nora

WILKINSON of Ottawa, mother of
his niece Anna
MacCHI
(Francesco and 4 children) of Galliate,
Milano, Italy.
Jay was always willing to share his happy memories of family,
cousins and cottage-Lake Simcoe life and wished to return home
for burial. To that end a private family interment will take
place sometime in mid-summer at Christ Church, Roches Point,
Lake Simcoe with reception to follow. As an expression of sympathy
donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Humane Society would
be appreciated.

GLASSER, beloved husband of the former Melva
HOLLAND
of Neustadt, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre
in Walkerton on Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at the age of 89 years.
He is survived by a brother, Helmuth
GLASSER of Neustadt, brother-
and sisters-in-law Isobel and Harvey
HOLLAND of Hanover, Florence
GLASSER of Neustadt and Gertie
ZIMMERMAN of Hanover. Also a number
of nieces, nephews, cousins and Friends. Predeceased by two sisters,
Edna WALTER and Marjorie
MEPHAM, and two brothers, Leon and Norman
GLASSER.
Friends were received at the Garrett Funeral Chapel in Neustadt
until the morning of Friday, January 18, 2008 then to St. Peter’s
Lutheran Church, Neustadt for funeral services at 11: 00 a.m.
