BUTLER died peacefully
in his 95th year. He was the devoted husband for forty-eight
years of the late Rosamund
McCOY and father of Ian of Carey,
North Carolina and Michael (Patricia) of Toronto. Predeceased
by his dear wife

BUTLER of Belleville. He will be
missed especially for his wonderful imagination and sense of
play by his grandchildren, Stephen (Lorie), Jeffrey (Karlye),
Stephanie and David; and by his great-grandchildren, Madeleine,
Rebecca, McCoy, Jasper and Margo. He will also be missed by May's
extended family. Born in Winnipeg on September 27, 1913 he attended
Kelvin High School and the University of Manitoba before transferring
to Queen's University. After university he worked with Lever
Brothers in Kitchener and then moved to Montreal where he spent
many years with Bomac Batten. Upon retirement he moved to Trenton.
Charles had a life long interest in history and music and participated
throughout his life in a number of choirs and choral groups.
He also served as church warden at St. Matthew's Church, Hampstead,
Quebec and was a long time member of the Kiwanis Club of Trenton.
