Peacefully, at age eighty-two, on March 27, 2008, after an illness
borne with courage, grace and dignity. Beloved husband of the
late Marylee, and devoted and loving father of Geoffrey (Judith
HARPER), Stephen, David and Mark (Angela
YAZBEK). Proud grandfather
of Angela, Tess, Gregory, Sara and Marisa of Beaconsfield, and
Aidan, Isaac, Lucas and Callum, of Toronto. Dear brother to Helen
MORRISON and Brian and Sara
KELLEY.
Fred was a tireless and enthusiastic community volunteer and
active in local politics for many years. By far his most fulfilling
role was at the West Island Palliative Care Centre where he worked
as a patient caregiver for the past five years.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to: The West Island
Palliative Care Residence, 265 André Brunet, Kirkland, Quebec
H9H 3R4 where staff and volunteers provided excellent care during
the final days of his life. Thank you for all you did for Dad.
The funeral service will be held at the Beaconsfield United Church,
202 Woodside Road (off Sherbrooke Street), Beaconsfield, Quebec
on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 4 p.m.

and flowers. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home,
118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Sunday afternoon, April 13th
from 2-4 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday,
April 14th at 11: 00 a.m. Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park.
