If you need a speaker for your church group, service group or class (university, college, high school, public school), the Ontario Genealogical Society maintains a roster of members who are able to speak or give workshops on Family History and its related fields. Our speakers also make presentations, adjusted to your needs, to retirement & senior citizen homes, clubs, TV & radio programs, retirement clubs and community groups.
To obtain a speaker contact us at the Provincial Office.
We need to know:
- Name of the group that is requesting a speaker
- Contact name, address and daytime phone number
- Date, time and location of presentation
- Estimated number of people
- Type of talk required if known,
- Length of presentation required.
An honorarium may be required.
Once a speaker is obtained on your behalf, we will let you know the speaker's audiovisual equipment requirements.
