GENERAL QUERIES

The Branch is pleased to receive your query, and for a fee you will receive an initial comprehensive search in our library of the following sources:

Middlesex census for 1851, 1861 & 1871
Early Settlers Project
Branch Databases (approx 718,000 names!)
Family & Local Histories
Totten Collection (Varied obits 1945 - 1950) &
London Free Press Obits (1967 (partial), 1968 - 1974, 1977, 1981 - 2009)

Please note that no primary records - births, marriages or deaths - are available. Information retrieved is basically the location of the primary record. This research may be obtained for $10.00 per specific individual, payable in advance.

Direct all mail (the request and cheque) for research to the branch at the above address. Please include your email address, in case we seek clarification of the request.

CEMETERY TRANSCRIPTIONS

Requests for photocopies of pages from the London-Middlesex Cemetery books, please pay in advance $5.00 for the first person, and $2.00 for each additional person. We request that you specify the exact cemetery, township and name/names. Payment to the London & Middlesex Co. Branch of OGS.

OBITUARIES: Copies are $5.00 each.

NEWSLETTER QUERIES

Per calendar year, One Free Query of reasonable length, and with relevance to Middlesex County. Editor reserves the right to edit queries. Additional queries will be $3.00 each. Inclusion of submissions will depend on time and space available. We recommend that you include your snail mail and email addresses.

POSTAGE

We would appreciate a SASE ( self-addressed stamped envelope) for Canadian inquiries and an IRC (International Reply Coupon, available at postal outlets) from out-of-country inquiries. Please do not include non-Canadian stamps.
