This work is an effort on the part of the authors to make some of the many valuable sources for genealogical research in Halton County more readily accessible to researchers.

Repositories for the various records indexed are listed, so that readers might make use of the original materials.

Indexes from 12 sources  include Tremaine’s Map (1858), various Halton marriage records, death records, baptism records, and land records.
