eWeekly Survey September 12th

Last week we asked you about Maps, and we received 231 responses – thank you!

While about half of our respondents indicated that they used both digital and physical maps, the types of maps varied.  The most popular apps for Maps were Google/Apple Maps and the Canadian County Atlas Project.

In response to our question about ‘other’ map collections you have found useful, several people mentioned the McMaster University (including their WW1 map) collections, National Library of Scotland, Meyer’s maps of Germany, American Civil War maps and cemetery maps, among others.

You can see the full results of the survey here!  If you want to expand your list of potential maps, click on the More details button associated with Question 4.

This week we’re asking for your views about generations – which ‘generation’ you identify with and what methods you might consider for sharing your family history with younger generations, etc.

The Survey will be open until midnight, Wednesday, September 16thCLICK HERE to start the Survey.
