Real Genealogy Stories
Erin Strouth, Senior Archivist, Archives of Ontario
Are you a genealogist with an interesting story tied to your family genealogy?
Would you love to have an opportunity to share your genealogy story with others?
The Archives of Ontario, in partnership with the Ontario Genealogical Society, would like to offer you a chance to help curate and exhibit the story of your family members through the Real Genealogy Stories exhibit cases. These cases provide you with a unique opportunity to exhibit reproductions of your Archives research and other personal items to illustrate your story. This could include vital statistics, photographs, journal entries, letters, and more – the possibilities are endless!
Exhibits will be on display for six months to a year and will also be promoted through the Archives’ Facebook and Twitter channels.
For your opportunity to be selected, please complete an application form available on the OGS website. Applications are also available at the Archives of Ontario.
