Lot 11, Broken Front Concession, East Flamborough Township
Opened in 1875, this is the oldest cemetery in the Hamilton Diocese. It was formerly part of Wentworth County but is now part of Halton.
It is the resting place of many of the Diocese’s bishops, priests and religious sisters.
Holy Sepulchre is large and includes both formal and natural style landscaping, outdoor columbarium, two mausolea on-site with niche and full casket entombment, and memorial trees and benches.

PVT John McGovern
1825–1888
Indian Rebellion Victoria Cross Medal Recipient. He served as a Private in the 1st Bengal Fusiliers, Indian Army. At Delhi, India, June 23, 1857, Private McGovern carried a wounded comrade to safety under heavy enemy fire at the risk of his own life. For gallantry during the whole period of these operations, he was awarded the Victoria Cross Medal.
Jim Quondamatteo
1927–2006
Professional Football Player. Born Vincent Albert Quondamatteo. For eight seasons (1948, 1949, and 1950 to 1955) he played at the position of an offensive guard in the Canadian Football League with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Montreal Alouettes, and the Edmonton Eskimos
