The “ATHENS REPORTER” was a weekly newspaper printed in Gananoque by the Gananoque Reporter after 1948, by the Scott family.

Edna B. Chant was the editor of the Athens information.

The paper included various articles of the “social and district news”, where local correspondents gathered weekly information on family events, visits, births, wedding anniversary celebrations, weddings, and deaths of it’s citizens.

Sometimes the events would appear in more than one issue of the paper, the second “event” might include more information than the first.

This volume includes information from January 1965 to December 1968, a total of 4 years.
