Description

Amédée Emery was a genealogist and local historian who worked out of Paincourt, Ontario.  Over many years he collected many documents pertaining to the French Community in Paincourt as well as other French-language communities in both Essex and Kent Counties.  His Card Collection was donated to the Franco-Ontarian Research Centre.  An index to the collection can be found on the Franco-Ontarian webpage.  The cards include obituaries, funeral cards, birthday, anniversary, engagement and marriage announcements among other things.  The index gives you the name of what is contained on the card and the name of the surname file where you can find the card.

This is the Surname A file. It has 575 pages.  Please review the index on the Franco-Ontarian Research Centre webpage before making a purchase.

If you are a member of the Essex County Branch of Ontario Ancestors, you can view these cards in the Members Library under the Franco-Ontarian Research Centre tab here.
