Description

Located on Warner Rd. adjacent to the QEW highway, in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Warner Cemetery dates back to the 1700’s and is the final resting place of a number of Canada’s key founding fathers (including Christian Warner).  It was the location in 1801 of the first Methodist Meeting House west of the Bay of Quinte, and is designated as a Heritage site under the Ontario Heritage Act.

This document includes known transcriptions for 146 stone markers found (1983, 1991). Also includes notes on 9 other burial entries.
