Description

– (at 366 St. Paul Street in St. Catharines.)  The columbarium is located beneath the Sanctuary. In the early days, there was a cemetery at the rear of the church.  However, in 1850, anticipating expansion of the church, the trustees decided to restrict the use of the cemetery. In 1857, they purchased a plot in the St. Catharines Cemetery –  now Victoria Lawn Cemetery. No further burials were permitted on church property and by 1860 all the graves had been moved to the new cemetery.
