The Family Histories Collection consists of individual PDF volumes, each documenting a single family history donated by families and researchers across Ontario. These digital books combine family narratives, photographs, and records that trace generations and local roots. Entries are arranged alphabetically. Each listing includes one complete family history PDF with key details such as surname, author, page count, and reference number for easy citation and cross referencing with the Ontario Ancestors Library and the TONI database.
* Note: This collection continues to grow as more family histories are digitized. The Ontario Genealogical Society is not responsible for any errors or omissions within the original materials.

The Family Fonds Collection contains digitized archival material gathered from family files donated to Ontario Ancestors. These collections include correspondence, photographs, certificates, poems, charts, and other unique family documents of genealogical and historical interest. Each fonds is organized under its corresponding surname folder, preserving the original order and context of the materials. The structure parallels the Family Histories arrangement, allowing researchers to browse by surname and access a wide variety of records related to each family.
All Family Fonds are available for online viewing, providing access to Ontario’s rich genealogical heritage while maintaining the authenticity of each family’s original collection.
