Description
–Â The Mission of St. Barnabas, formed in 1870, located then at the junction of Queenston and Niagara streets. Between 1873 and 1875, a frame church was erected on John Street (now Tasker Street). In 1890, the frame church was moved to its site at 33 Queenston Street, St. Catharines. The Columbarium was dedicated in 1991. (8 names)
– St. Thomas’ Church – Located at 99 Ontario Street, St. Catharines. Established 1877, an offshoot of Christ Church which was in turn built as a daughter church of St. George’s Church, St. Catharines’ first Anglican church. The St. Thomas’ Columbarium was established in 1982. (37 names)
