Description

– Located at 3802 Main Street, Jordan, Lot 19, Conc. 4, former Louth Twsp., now Town of Lincoln.  This is the present location of the Jordan Historical Museum’s ‘Fry House’ on the west side of Main Street.  It was the site of an early Mennonite Church around 1845, later serving as a Union Church. The earliest gravestone seems to be 1845.

This document includes 36 known gravestone transcriptions recorded in 1983 and revised in 1997,  indexed by page#. (Clause, Clendennan, Couse, Everett, Fretz, Grob(b), Haines, High, Kretz, McDowell, McIntyre, Moyer, Orth, Overholt, Price, Secord, Toffert, Waters, Wismer, Zimmerman.)   Also included are the original 1983 notes (W.
