Description

– Located at 7075 Sixteen Rd. on the south west corner of Lot 39, Concession 6 in Gainsborough Township, Lincoln County, where Caistor Gainsborough Townline Road meets Sixteen Road.  The cemetery is all that remains of Grace Church, built in 1862 on an acre of land purchased from Gilbert Wrong.  The church was part of the Smithville Methodist Circuit which included churches in St. Ann’s (Mingle Hill), Tintern, Merritts Settlement, and Smithville.

– This document includes transcriptions for 107 known family gravestones with a few family history notes added.  The earliest burial recorded here is 1865.
